Finally finished it 🤧 Many things made me cry for real as I could connect with my real life. Stubborn mom who doesn't want to visit hospital when she is sick thinking that's the best solution. Feeling guilty over someone's death because of the harsh words you said before that. Moms, giving up their own happiness for their children. They just don't know the fact that it is suffocating for them. A child will never want to watch his/her mom struggling everyday. Can't parents and children balance everything without giving up their own lives?? I really hope the values will change one day. Started watching this only for the leads but it triggered me many times. At least happy to see the mom here who started enjoying her own life, breaking free from the old shackles. Many people showed disappointment towards the end but remember, it's a family drama. We got the best ending tbh. I think the PR team should have introduced the mom as a main lead along with YZ and XK. She deserves the recognition.

This drama was created to attract local chinese people. As it's a family drama, romance is not the first priority. As an Asian, I can relate many things with this drama for which I am really liking it so far. It's a slow burn romance for the leads, but it's definitely worth it as their chemistry is top notch. Though it's totally upto the watcher if one would like it or not as this kind of genre may not be likable for all. But the ratings are really high for an urban drama in China. It broke many records. If you want a "slice of life" kind of drama, go for it.
