That's because chinese dramas became more popular recently. There's not much good quality dramas before but in the last 2-3 years the quality has improved a lot. And in MDL, people can send 300 flowers/week to an artist. So if they have a few loyal fans who is willing to send this much then it's not hard to move into Top20 within a year. You said before korean artist are on Top 20. It's not like their flowers count dropped recently. It's just people are sending flowers to chinese artists more. That's why they occupied the top positions. For example, visit Kim Soo Hyun's page who is in 7. Currently people are not sending him any flowers. But visit the other top chinese artists, their loyal fans are willing to send them every week. So it's hard for korean artists to maintain their rankings here. My point is there is no interference of chinese viewers in MDL.

Just like I said, chinese actors have more loyal fans. I watch kdramas for 10years but never followed a single artist for a lengthy period. But idk why I can relate more with chinese artists and I'm willing to chase one for years. I have never send any flowers to any k-actors. But I am sending to my favorite chinese artist every week.
