- He really loves to play Basketball and he plays like a professional player. He has a basketball stadium named "FADE AWAY" in Hengdian. He tries to spend time there whenever he gets off work early. He also has his own clothing brand "FADE AWAY"
- He is an animal lover. He has 2 dogs named "MONKEY"(shiba inu) & "WANGZAI"(teddy). Wangzai was adopted from street when it was 3/4 years old. Monkey was gift by his costar and he has been raising it from its birth. Neo's chinese name "Hou" also means monkey.
- He loves to drive motorcycle.
- He can play accordion, guitar, piano. He knows Italian Bel Canto. He was an SM trainee, so he's good at singing & dancing. Some of other expertise: Skateboarding, swimming, scuba diving, sky diving, water skating, cooking.
- He accepts only letters(no gift) from fans and he actually reads all the letters everyday. He always converse with them after getting off work. He considers fans as his friends and letters as daily chat with fans.
