Rating tanked to 4.2 probably a spam witch craft. Soley for PJY acting the rating is an easy 8/10. Please watch for yourself and decide on it. Story is engaging and I’m looking forward for the next episode. Too early to tank or sky rocket the rating to be honest. Episode 1 - 8/10
Try The Devil Judge as an introduction to PJY, he's been great in it, and he and Ji Sung played off each other…
When I saw the trailer of The Witch, I did put The Devil Judge in my watchlist and after the first episode of this drama and your recommendation I will surely watch it. He looks very promising and gives a boyish yet mature charm. Thank you for the recommendation. :)
I was really looking forward to PJY’s acting, and this is the first drama of his that I’m watching. I’m absolutely in awe of his talent and adorable charm. I also adore RJE, but I found her performance in Hierarchy disappointing. Since this is just the first episode, I’m hopeful that she will pull off and deliver the role well. First episode 8/10
I really don't understand why you'd tank the ratings just because you don't like some details of the plot. Even…
Exactly.! Just for the visuals and cinematography I would give it a 10/10. The story narrative is about not so perfect people making choices that are very much aligned with human nature leading to disappointments and resentment. I believe the drama has served its purpose.
As the name suggests, this is a melodrama—expect heartbreak, abandonment, conflict, imperfect romance, and disappointment. This isn’t a sweet romcom with an idealized love story; instead, it delves into the flawed nature of people—their selfishness, their questionable choices, and the messy realities of relationships. The beauty of this drama lies in its rawness, in showing that people are imperfect beings who hurt and get hurt, sometimes without justification. It’s about learning to forgive, to move on, or to simply live with the scars. If you're looking for a story where a perfect, handsome hero swoops in to save a damsel in distress, this isn’t it.
