So I had stopped the series after the 1st episode because it got too dark and reading the comments below make…
Agree that this drama is not really dark. First few episodes are kind of slow but I continue because Kang Ha Neul is good. The story plot is not straight forward and has it twists and turns but it's getting more interesting. Episode 7 & 8 is pretty exciting and sometimes unpredictable. Just hope that the ML will not be so unlucky in the 2nd half of the drama;-)
Overall this is a good drama encompassed with cute, sweet and funny moments. Love the male lead, YKS. He just got the charms. But, a bit disappointed with the last episode…too many quarrels between the 2 main leads. Screen time must well be pass on to the 2nd lead couple for some sweet moments instead. Anyway, still worth the watch. I don’t mind to re-watch though 😘
This drama is getting better and better. Though the start was a bit slow, the story development is getting more interesting. This is like the opposite of ‘Why Her’, started well but kind of story going flat now…less interesting.
I love the ML, but the plot is hard to get me engaged into the drama. I am still trying to continue watching but I think it is getter harder.... Started to watch episode 6 but just could not finish it:-( I don't know why...maybe the plot is a drag...I probably putting it on hold first for now...really like YJG. Let's hope the story can get better later...
Yea! Episode 9&10 is so good…love it. A lot of sweet & funny moments. I particular like the background music of that whistle tune….when you hear it means Cha Minhu is getting cute & funny..haha😘😘😘
What a great drama👍. This is the first time that I do not get the feeling that the drama is ending even though it has ended.😳 The story plot really keeps you invested till the last episode. Well done to the cast. Great acting. Also good to at least see Lee Joon smiling (finally). He has been so sad & crying, sobbing all those episodes. Kudos to the team! Excellent drama with excellent execution 👏👏
Quite a disappointment for this remake. Story plot kind of all over the places. First time seeing 2ML more screen time than first ML…& eventually marry the FL. Guess the writer just follow the original 1st season and just settled for it. This is also my 1st time keep fast forwarding the scenes to see the ending because even last episode is also such a drag.🙁
Recently just finished “Shooting Stars”. I kind of find that Kim Young Dae & Lee Junho outlook got some similarities, especially in their photo shoot. Anyone thought same too?😅
I think commentators who really don’t like the ML from the outset, have totally not understood the character…
Totally agree. That’s how he should act out for now because he got nobody that he can trust and like…so he need that poker face. Maybe we will see more different expression in the coming episodes after he gets closer to Ra El.
Wow...love this drama. The last few minutes in episode 6 is so sweet. Hoping to see it in realty soon:-) The ML definitely exude charm and the FL is pretty too. Both leads have great chemistry which keep me longing the next episode to come soonest and see their lovey-dovey scenes;-)
FL communication skills is trash and she starting to annoy the heck out of me. I liked and understood her in the…
I agree with you. She seems nice in the earlier episodes…but now pretty annoying & I don’t like that facial expressions too. It looks like everything have to be her way is the right way. I pity the ML, he is giving in all the time. I bet he is getting tired of it already… That kind of interaction will not last long after marriage🤞
I'm sorry but... Wasn't that a happy ending? They were still together and looked like he finally decided to give…
Totally agree. It’s happy ending here. Conflicts ironed out for KJ & TH. Hyeon-ah will meet CH on weekends at his convenience store. Gu quit his old job & start to give up drinking & looks like going to look for MJ. I think the ending scene for all is good. If we look closely, these 3 couples all end up with a smile…like looking forward to better life ahead😊😊
This drama’s emotions are up and down. I don’t hope to see a depressed ending. My wishful thinkings are:- 1. KJ is actually pregnant but kept to herself. TH is in conflict to marry her mainly because of his sister. Then he found out her pregnancy & marry her👍 2. CH is always open to Hyeon-ah coming back to him anytime she is ready. He has a big heart and so we get to see them healing each other👍 3. MI is more open & happier with Gu around. Gu will finally quit his job & work for CH in his convenience store. All will still stay in Seoul with frequent visit to Sanpo as a Big family😀 Please made the ending a blissful one after all the roller coaster ride🙏🙏
Why are people comparing this drama to Racket Boys? And people want to see more matches in ALP just because it’s a sports drama? They are just different in the story scope. I read from somewhere that the boys (in Racket Boys) actually took 6 months of badminton training from an expert to prepare for the drama. That’s why you are able to see more matches in Racket Boys. The main story plot for ALP quite clearly sees as romance/melodrama, therefore, you only see some smashing here and there of the players. In fact, for Junyoung being a top player, I don’t think I remember seeing her holding a racket and play or smashing (unless I missed out). So, we can just sit back and continue to enjoy the great acting/chemistry between the leads and of course the co-actors are not too bad too.😊
I will not compare this adaptation to the original as I have not watched the original before. Just watching this as a K-drama itself, it is entertaining in the first couple of episodes. After that, the story kinda of disoriented with all the subplots. Was it the editing that does not carry the story to have smooth transition to the next scene or something is lacking? And episode 5, the dialogue is so noisy (maybe it’s just me). There is something funny with Woori’s father voice, it’s loud and noisy & hard for me to get into their father/daughter story. I think it is something to do with voice control (or voice acting). In fact, Sung Hoon’s voice also like that. Can’t feel anything. But, the rest of the cast seems fine. So far, most K-drama actors/actress I come across are pretty good with their voice control😅
So far, I have never seen Lee Min Ki cast in this type of role. He is so good in it. He nailed it, being loud, funny and cute at times👍. Though Son Seok Gu do not have many lines, he definitely portrayed so well with his emotions using his eyes and body movement. We can see that many people are loving him now as he is now in the top spot (buzz worthy) in TV drama series. His recent movie, ‘The Roundup’ also smash box office records in couple of days and I believe he is the reason for it too. He is trending hot these days😘😘
Best scene is Gu chasing Chang Hee till the end. How the story run with Gu making a choice to return to Seoul & Chang Hee fulfilled Hye Jin’s wish to see her ex-boyfriend. Love how the story flow👍..beautiful presentation..
