Man they could have just opted to do a "lakorn" drama a la "Happy Birthday" (which "10 Year Ticket" is likely gonna be ) or "WHO ARE YOU". Both did well in the ratings and they're not the lakorn similar to what Channel 3 or 7 or One is doing.

These titles are all produced by Exact (now The One Enterprise), which happens to be GMMTV's "mother" company.

Good to hear about Never Let Me Go, that teaser seems like a mafia lakorn. Plus I've read that P'Jojo plans to pay homage to the Thai lakorns of the 1990's with this one.

CLW replacing NM makes sense, looks like Earth-Mix is the torchbearer of the 2022 lineup as they're most likely the first one premiering.

The bride kinda looks like Gypsy Keerati, who was Yong Armchair's (the actor) partner in "Castle of Stars".

The parents in the original trailer are probably GMMTV "production people". They just needed to come up with a sketch for the promo launch.

To be fair, they got some reputable actors for the parents some of which were lead artists in dramas during their prime. Leo Putt (Pat's dad) was actually a teen idol himself.

I think this will be more like Aom Phiyada's drama "Malai Sarm Chai" wherein she had 3 husbands but it's not because she's a nymphomaniac or something.

If that's the case, this will probably be the Friday night BL lineup of GMMTV for 2022

- Moonlight Chicken (This is likely gonna be same airing day as the rest of Midnight Series anthology. I can imagine this more as a Saturday night programming.)
- You are My Favorite (I see this more of a "lakorn"/weekday timeslot TBH, given the "seniority" of the cast.)

They said instead of following the Series Y tradition, Never Let Me Go will throw all of it away. It will instead follow the 90s mafia Lakorn classics such as My Life Is To Kill, My Love Is For You (1998), Yearning To Stop The Sunset At The Horizon (1995), and Swan Over Dragon (2000). These Lakorns are known to be very intense and emotional, much more than most Thai contents in past decade.
