Dropped on episode 10, when Chu Zhao is now leading entire military strategy sessions while two hardened generals…
this is an amazing drama, where things get more ridiculous with every episode...
The strategy makes sense in theory, but it doesn't fit their situation... For a single battle that lasted just one day, cutting off the water supply and burning the rations didn’t make much of a difference…this applies to long-term battles
With 3,000 enemy soldiers concentrated at the South Gate, and the city’s main force exiting through the North Gate—does that mean they were going around, circling half the city wall to attack from the rear? That’s not very practical, and they’d definitely be spotted by enemy scouts right away, and the enemy would just turn around, change their direction of attack… Plus, in a head-to-head battle like that, 800 against 3,000, there’s no way they could win… even if their soldiers were the strongest n the most skilled, they couldn’t win decisively with only 300 casualties…
Not sure why some viewers said that FL's transformation is not convincing, that she was weak and naive and now…
In my opinion, FL’s character wasn’t very convincing from the start... unconvincing n contradictory.. She lived freely on the frontier for 14–15 years... then moved to the capital alone, focused on becoming a noblewoman, fell in love, and became both Empress and advisor to her husband, the Emperor, for years... When did she learn all that? Is she just naturally smart? She didn’t seem smart when trying to save ML—she just seemed honest n kind… n when did she learn politics? She’s been Empress for years, supposedly offering input on royal policies.. But it seems she wasn’t involved in politics—she just offered casual advice—because she knew nothing about the people around her and was completely unaware of her husband’s political maneuvers… She was so naive that she didn’t have even the slightest suspicion or caution towards the people at court and those around her… As an empress, that wasn’t particularly smart… From the day she was reborn until the coup, it was a few days, but she didn’t make a single plan, didn’t contact her father either, and suddenly had this brilliant idea after running for her life to save herself and the emperor’s grandson? Suddenly she’s so scheming, maneuvering here and there with handsome officials, but completely forgetting about her father—who, in her previous life, XX said had been poisoned.. she didn’t check, didn’t ask a single thing, even though she supposedly wanted to save her father? She had just been let down by the person she loved; she had sworn never to get married as the first princess, but in no time at all, she was easily flirting with ML..
And not to mention the FL suddenly joining the war and even leading the ML’s men with no proper military training.…
That position earned through merit, which is quite common, especially during times of political instability, with frequent wars and rebellions.. Moreover, the recommendation came from a competent official/general, who naturally had a better understanding of the situation on the front lines..
idk if you watch the drama by skipping some scenes or not, but clearly you missed some points. she knew how to…
just one of many amazing things in this drama.. the FL n the sidekick can accomplish what most people need months n years in just a matter of hours n days😂 the sidekick is so capable, a genius.. The same goes for FL, who can do anything just by memorizing books... from recognizing people she has never met before to digging frozen ground with her bare hands without getting hurt at all... truly extraordinary books...😁

it trully amaze me how people actually bought that lame excuse of "the foster father made her read n memorized many books" to justify every nonsensical thing about her character.. The books that scholars must study are mostly about principles, not politics 101 or scheming 101. That is why they need teachers to guide them, or meetings of scholars to discuss and exchange ideas. And of course, there are no guides about important figures in the capital and their complete CVs among those books.. And a village girl who had no education suddenly behaved perfectly like a noble lady... Was it because she read books too? Meanwhile, noble families spent years educating their daughters, and even hired special tutors...
What is the novel rebirth like, is it a do-over like in Blossom or Kunning or Princess Royal?
a do over, like blossom n story of kunning palace.. so all of her knowledge are basically justified, made sense, unlike this one..but the most important thing is, i don't get why they bother to claim that this is an adaptation, when the only thing they kept is the name of the character.. originally there's no mother, ML is a prince, the villain is the queen dowager.. completely different story..
why are people dropping it and rating it so low? i just binged 11 eps!! liking this so much more than recent “top…
It's a thing these days.. People tend to give high ratings, perfect ratings in fact, to their idol dramas no matter what, no matter the flaws, but give low ratings, overly criticize, and negatively judge other dramas...
oh I'm blaming the script alright.....cos the novel shows how wei yun grew up so fast bcos of the tragedy that…
no it didn't.. he grew up gradually in the novel, took him years.. he's a fierce teen general in the battlefield, but just xiao qi in front of his first sister in law for 3 yrs or so (it's been a long time, can't remember the exact detail)..
14 eps, I'm done.. despite the not that interesting story, n the fact that i don't like gongjun's su muyu, it's actually still watchable, i mean, at least the visual is great.. but that annoying bgm.. damn, it really ruined everything for me.. can't take it anymore.. totally dropping it..
What kind of leader was Jun Seo being? He practically dumps all the work on Park Dong Gyu and expects him to refine…
couldn't agree more.. They should give extra points to the choreographer in dance position team... n Yumeki's choreography, wowww.. I think it's the best choreography this season..
Anyone who didn't read the original material and went into the movie knowing nothing, who has some impression…
I've never read the novel and after watching it i was like, wtf, what the hell did i just watch? live action or not, this is sucks.. I have so many complaints (but not in the mood to rant).. what a waste of time..
This is a mess.. the novel itself wasn't the best, but usually the drama ver is better.. but nope, not this time.. they change a lot of things but certainly not for the best.. The main problem is, they removed the Rebirth theme, but they failed to weave the story properly.. they bend logic n time lines.. a lot of things felt nonsensical, seemed sudden n forced.. so overhyped..
Story of kunning palace or a journey to love.. Kill me heal me or word of honor.. Doctor john or weak hero.. Goblin or mysterious lotus casebook.. Story of kunning palace or mouse.. The untamed or trauma code.. Mouse or nirvana in fire.. 😱😱😱
In ep2 i feel like the audience were biased. I know everyone has their own fav. But that's a survival show, and…
I already feel that Beat will be in trouble the moment they pick the wrong person in ep 1... I'm sorry, but that park ji hun guy really doesn't deserve to be in the show...He's not as good as the other members, but he keeps slacking off n that affected the overall mood of the team..but I'm glad to see Woongki again.. i really wish he can make it this time.. he was one of my fav in the previous show.. N after 2 episodes, he is also my fav in this show along with JL.. i think both of them deserve to debut..
This site is becoming a shitshow. Before you could enter looking for the ratings of a drama and believe in the…
saying people are full of hate, while this whole speech of yours is exactly the same if not worse... this is a free forum, where people comment on drama, share their opinion n feeling after watching it.. so what if people don't like a slow paced drama, so what if they're not fond of this type of storytelling? people have the right to like or dislike something, so who are you to call those who don't like it as haters? do you see people talking bad about those who watch this drama just for chanyeol? no, cos it's their rights..
more than half of the drama on this list are definitely not underrated.. the under 50K watchers on MDL doesn't mean that it's unpopular, cos I think only a handful of drama fans/viewers use the app..
