i felt like the romance was solid but hey, each to their own

i feel like i prefer these kind of dramas more lol.....i hated almost all of the popular romance dramas last year but i really liked this one. i felt like alll the characters were complex, even the so called bad guys of the story too were complex. the ml and fl were people on their own and their personalities/life did not revolve/depend on each other

i think she terrorized him cause she wanted him to be so miserable so he becomes the 'walking dead' or whatever....like she wanted him to be in the condition our female lead first found him so that the evil spirit can use his body/soul as the vessel....at least that's what i understood

i think it showed more abt our female lead's character rather than bongsu. this was done subtle way imo. showed more abt how much of a protector she is and how far she would go in order to protect ppl, which then aligns with how much she wants to protect the male lead and her classmates. also her dilemma of not liking this shaman lifestyle was kinda solved through this, like she realizes seeing the ghosts of ppl and actually being a comfort to them is something she does want to continue doing

i feel like many ppl need to look into yeom hwa, the mother, bongsu and all the other characters with some nuance instead of being so emotional over it. their backstories exist to make their characters complex, its not forcing u to sympathize with someone

they showed her doing some ritual with the baby in hand and the mother came and stopped her cause there was no point in doing anything anymore

i think she was hired by his family to drive away his misfortune but instead she took it as an opportunity to make him more miserable aka the living dead so that an evil spirt can consume his body and so that she can have that evil spirit as her patron or something

what??? im saying its good and that other people are acting like its the worst thing ever and that im the one who is usually saying its the worst thing ever on a well loved drama so it feels good to be on the other side

they were not together. the fl lead's best friend liked the ml so the fl was playing cupid for them but the ml falls for her but then life pulls them apart. years later they meet again. she does not know that he likes her

damn for the first time im not the only screaming that the story writing is bad. i feel the opposite rn in this series and trust me, i had been in multiple comments where i truly felt like the story was dumb but everyone else was loving it. feels good to be on the other side

actors and celebs i can see, they have parasocial fans but do korean ppl keep up with ceos and their children, where they study, who they date etc???

u do know that this is just a drama right??? that this is just fiction and this rarely happens in real life??? u do know that in real life nepo babies/people who use their power don't have repercussions like this?

u might need to look internally and asses why u think poor people are 'cows' and rich people are somehow happier and better.

they might not have got streaming rights or netflix might not be interested in them

is this an actual thing in korea??? like i get nepotism news and the anger towards it but going out of your way to find that person's number and text them stuff??? like i could not tell u the names of the owners of many big companies, let alone what their children are doing but kdramas make it seem like people are always keeping up with ceos/big company ppl and know their every move

they overestimated how much people would care about characters just because they had kids, and how much the message would resonate. 246 needed more depth so we could cheer for him to escape.
