i don't remember exactly....i think she stayed in america for education purposes and was waiting for her dad to call her back??

meh i feel like they are portraying it good enough. she has been working hard her whole life even then it does not mean anything so logically this is another work she has to do. she might not have the mindset to see romance rn. i personally feel like they are showing her caring abt him and liking him but she herself doesn't realize it cause she is too busy trying to establish herself. we are probably going to have an episode where she has an epiphany about her feelings

i have been saying i would have liked it more if apo knew from the very begining that chonlada is her rival's daughter and is very surprised by her working in her hotel therefore she tries to keep her close in order to have an eye on her and in the process falls in love with her........

this would have made the series 100% better to me

same. the couples falling for each other so quickly in the earth can be overlooked cause they knew each other since childhood + it was such a tense situation and they both were taking such good care of each other it was easy to digest. plus we had the cousins to act like the middlemen for the audience to understand the couple's feelings. here it doesn't make sense for them to fall so quickly. in the earth apo was so busy and lowkey cold, in the beginning of water she was like that too but suddenly she is listening to everything a new employee is saying. the confession+ reaction in the last ep was confusing, when did they both realize their feelings, when did they realize the other person had the same feelings etc. plus the dad and sister are no help here. even before apo showed anything much for chonlada they started calling her daughter

i started the first ep and omg....why are going at the speed of light????

they didn't even try to write a proper story

first lacklustre episode for me

u can find hundreds and thousands of dramas where the fl can't do anything and the ml has to save her every time, u can pick one of that if u miss it so bad

the thing is in the earth they showed us/implied to us that they knew abt the crimes happening. here there is no implication that they even doubt lada's background, everything is just an assumption from the viewer

i still wish it had more depth, how juicy it would have been if apo already knew who lada was and kept her close to see what moves she made- found out how dedicated she is- realises her struggles- amusement turns into affection and eventually love.

its so ridiculous to see people treat a child as a god lol

i would say all Eun Hyeok had to do to help her was to sent to therapy but given that her therapist SA'ed her and probably broke many ethical rules to date her, that advice would have been bad

like ofc its the male best friend of the fl who is killing all the men in her life, how surprising

it gets real boring when the victim is someone who has few people in her life and the people ruining it are the ones closest to them

did she and her last fiance even love each other?

im assuming the chairwoman helped him cover up all those murders cause no way a single cctv camera caught him doing all that

she was deeply depressed in the first few episodes and then suddenly she turns into sunshine personified

exactly!!!! with the drama name i thought we were going to get some evil killer show with the fl being the killer and ml knowing its her yet being drawn to her cause of her 'siren song' but instead we have this.....

the melodrama barely lasted for 3 eps, rest was sunshine and rainbows
