You cant compare Douban rating, because Lusi is traffic start (top at 95 line), she has a LOT haters and water armies who purposely downvoted all her dramas, its much more easy got good rating, when drama doesnt have any popular actors in Douban

Its very different from Itazura na Kiss, because FL never really chase ML, and hide her feelings, so its called Hidden Love)) and ML is nicest and sweetest person ever, especially compare to Itazura na Kiss, who was jerk to FL)))

But did you watched it all or only couple of first episodes? She was like that only in high school, she moved on from him, and go that university not even because of ML, but because her major is better there (she also didnt contacted to him after moved that city, and didnt plan to see him ever again). ML quite his job and move other city for her, his bought house only on her name, previously he also moved to more expensive house near her college to be near.
FL also live her life, study hard, work hard, hangout with friends, win competition and so on
