He look s like some fairy prince or elves with all those beautiful costumes, colors, hairstyle! and not only him, but all boys good looking and have interesting styling, really want watch it, even if there will be zero romance, just for visual 😍

It's not about popularity, it's rating on Douban (Chinese version of IMDb), but there a lot haters down voted dramas , so got even 7 (7 from 10) point considering as good result. TTEOTM definitely was way more popular then BFTB, but it also got a LOT of hate.
