But you should consider early Han, it's quit specific time, and we also should consider rules of that word, for 34 episodes there was many criminals, but no family members was executed, also for whole story Emperor executed only 1 person, prince Xiao, who was extremely horrible.

I also think this moment and revenge for 5th princess, happen because she feels to save in Palace, Emperor, Empress, Consort , LBY all love her and protect her, so I think it's natural progress of her character become more careless and thinking any her plan will work good, but this 2 moments will show her that her actions can have serious effects, so after all that she became more serious and also will fully trust LBY

SS never was super smart , she good at talking/createing stuff/quick thinking (for example when she saw red dress of 3d Princess and decided expose her), she never was the smartest one , and I think it's much more realistic then make her smarter then everyone else.

I also think it wasn't made just for fun, probably real seal LBY will use later for his revenge, or it leads to exposure Marquis Yue
