Yes, I'm so used for 2D second characters in romance dramas who exsit only as decorations for ML and FL love, but there i remember every second character, they all very real, different and have their own accomplishments and flaws,and even episode characters very mesmorasing (as that scary old woman who talked with WL's mother)
This drama purly slice-of-life, when I watching it I actually live in that place and era, all details on clothes, houses, different locations, food, (especially food), everything looks so real. And director with camera man always give us close up for all those details.
The same goes for the characters, how SS monotonously wake up every day dark morning, cold empty street, LBY yawns))) isn't it relatable?)) Or how SS thinking about her first forehead kiss, can't fall asleep and turning in bed)))) all these scene isn't necessary, but it gives live for this story.
