I only want say , i don't think Run Yu mistreated, his character very well written, he have a lot screen time, same as mail lead , he had amazing scene where actor had opportunity to show his character and his acting skills, even ML not have so much this kind scenes. Because he very good writen a LOT people loved him or at least can understand his actions. And in the end he have almost everything, he emperor of heaven realm, he avenged his mother's death and all bad Empress did for him , he even again become brother with Xufeng, he had girl who love him more then anything in her life. He only not had romantic love from Jimin, but love its not something you deserve or not, you can't control this things.

Yep, I talking not exactly for you, but for this kind conversations, I mean I just tired see people always need to insult AOL, to show their fav drama is good. This drama finished 3 years ago, so for 3 years not have any other good drama to compare ? I also don't like first comment, its just made people don't like AOL more, and this 2 dramas don't have any in common, except they both xianxia. I personally love both dramas)

No need compare AOL and ALP, AOL was aired in 2018, and now strong FL more popular and trending. Because of AOL and Eternal Love xianxia genre become very popular, and if not this dramas ALP will never air. Its normal that ALP had better CGI and story, because this dram aired 3 years later, director, producers, scriptwriters can learn mistakes of previous xianxia dramas and avoid it, but back in time popularity of AOL was HUGE, ALP cant compare with it, and 3 years later people still talking about it, as you now)

If you like Chinese costume dramas its pretty good, not something extraordinary or very high budget, normal drama in this genre, with good chemistry )
