This drama have all things im not like))
1. Annoying almost all second leads
2. FL who got in trouble every 5 min and need be saved by ML
3. Over acting
4. Unrealistic cliché situations
Im still watching, because trailer have beautiful moments, but i think will give up soon

First episode was very good! But im a bit worry in drama will have lot sad moments, even the scene at start of first episode, that some bad happened with main leads, so i think i will wait all episodes out, and will watch , when will know all spoilers))) im that kind person, my heart too weak)

Happy hear have person think same me)) i love that language, because some things can have hidden meaning, and yep its sooo beautiful!

I will always choose Ashes of love instead of Love and Redemption, but I understand why many people like second. I think both drama especially good in acting, chemistry and amazing ost. But I like more serious and complex story in AOL, its more logical and consistent, while in L&R a lot events repeat again and again, such as same misunderstandings, blood spitting, ML miseries and sacrifices, etc. I also don't like last arc, where Xuan Ji become **** (you know whom)), for me it was a bit too much

Also I like Jinmi more, because you can understand her naivety, she lived 4000 years in floral realm with only woman (except carrot grandad), without feeling or any understanding of life, she even didn't know differences between man and woman , or anything about romantic relationship, and her progress and character developing was more realistic. While Xuan Ji all life lived with humans but didn't understand some basic things (as difference between love or friendship, or that she cant relax in bath with naked man, it all was funny scenes, but highly hard believed))). And even if Jinmi was naïve she was clever and quick learner, and also some ironic and sassy, what created many very funny moments ))

And last one, as person, who learning mandarin and highly interested in Chinese mythology and fantasy, I was really obsessed how it was showed in AOL, it soooo poetic )) similar when Jinmi was naïve and cute, she was cute grape, but later when she become more strong, serious, and experienced hardship and losses, she became snowflakes. And how ML Xu Feng as fire phoenix, was a bit cold arrogant outside, but extremely passionate inside and his love for Jinmi was similar fire - strong, expressive and uncompromising, while Runyu, as water dragon, was warm and kindly outside, but very calm, thoughtful, calculating inside. Even full name of this drama "heavy sweetness ash-like frost" very poetic and meaningful, "heavy sweetness" about FL who was sweet (literally as Flower Deity) and innocent but caused a lot heavy sufferings for ML, "ash-like frost" about ML who became ash (also phoenix creature who reborn from ash) because of coldness FL (as Snowflakes). And drama have a LOT that kind details, different creatures, artefacts, powers, realms, cultural references, so I never feel boring to re watch it))

Dive in)) I think its more interesting when many people watch drama same time and share they thinking after new episodes))

Agree!! I that drama so many good characters had very crul unfair heartbreaking ending (( some scenes i even can't rewatch, and moment with the cliff one of my favourite and heartbreaking same time))

"Ashes of love" many years its my number one favourite drama (with "untamed")) , here have all - beautiful CGI, incredible OST, perfect amount of romantic and agnst scenes, and also one of the most in love ML in dramaland )

I didn't read manga, but love movie, it was very beautiful, bittersweet story, and made me fan of Minami, her character was very charming and glowing. I only don't like, that there not too more romantic scenes, it was more focus on personal inner experiences, feelings, then on relationship. And I feel this story be better as 10-11 ep drama, then movie. Because some things look rushed (for example Rio feeling)

Good drama, second half was a bit boring compare to first one, but generally its high quality story with good acting and very beautiful FL (she reminds me Emily Browning)

Episode 3 was very good! Now I'm officially ship Ai and Sosuke, and Takuya with Risa))

Yep, they started date in the end of 14 ep)

FL not chased cousin, they had some sympathy for each other, and later worked together, but she totally not chased him. And she also stopped to like him in ep 7. And 9-14 ep FL will understand she love ML
