They will become a couple soon ( probably in the next two or three ep) but when the parents find out they will separate them for years.. they will meet again during their 20s.. and yes they will become a couple again!

Believe me even if we get a cliffhanger their relationship is so adorable that it worths the waiting of season 2... The only problem is if we don't get a season two...
