Maybe someone can make a video compilation of his blood vomits
Hehe, someone has. Poor Sifeng, he's at 42xs through Epi 44 (that's almost as many cough up blood scenes as there are episodes, lol!) ^_^ Not sure where the original tiktok post is, but I saw it here on IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/CEdgGMnFmP_/?igshid=4jvb6q3zmlov
If you enjoy multiple lifetimes with enduring love/devoted male lead/clueless yet cute female lead with immortals/gods,…
Sorry, also I realize I didn't read the end of your question before I answered. I don't know if any of these are picked up as dramas yet, but we can only hope someday! :)
I'm so surprised how wonderful this drama is. I skipped reading the novel back in 2012 because the plot was horrid…
If you enjoy multiple lifetimes with enduring love/devoted male lead/clueless yet cute female lead with immortals/gods, then I found these two novels to be similar the ones you already called out. I wish they will become dramas someday:
NOTE: Major spoilers!!! 1) Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang (Sansheng, Death Exists Not at the River of Oblivion) by 九鹭非香 (Jiu Lu Fei Xiang) More here: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/sansheng-wangchuan-wu-shang/ * Three lifetimes between a stone spirit from Hell (heroine) and God of War (hero) from Heaven. * I'm a little creeped out that the heroine raises the hero in his first lifetime, but it reminds me of TMOPB where Bai Qian secretly met the child version of Yehua in his mortal life and told him he was gonna grow up to marry her someday, lol * The ending, so sweet after the angst! Plus the extras shows the hero is so mad in love and spoils the heroine! * I wish this novel was longer, but it packs it all in really well.
2) Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes, All Thanks to a Single Moment of Impulse, also by 九鹭非香 (Jiu Lu Fei Xiang) More here: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/seven-unfortunate-lifetimes-all-thanks-to-a-single-moment-of-impulse/ * 7 lifetimes between a cloud spirit (heroine) and Celestial star (hero), both from Heavenly realm. * the beginning is hilarious in terms of that all-out-crazy-fight that got them both punished to go through 7 lifetimes together. Note: Sometimes one or both retained their memories in their lifetime(s). * I loved their first lifetime together the most. Hero had such a sad start (he lost one eye when his family was killed in childhood). He was very devoted to her, even though the heroine wasn't as likeable yet since she retained her memory and was still pissed off at him (he didn't have any memories). * they also spent 1 lifetime as animals (tiger and boar), but it did serve it's purpose within the novel so that's OK with me, plus it's a short lifetime thankfully * they had a gender swap in one lifetime, lol * but oh man, by their later lifetimes, the hero had fallen for her so hard! (well, he pretty much loved her since their first lifetime, however she was oblivious and it took a couple more lifetimes before she realized she loved him back). I didn't warm up the heroine til later in the novel though...
These other 2 novels I haven't finished yet (only because they're not fully translated) but feel they're also similar with the whole devoted hero/immortals/clumsy female lead. They're on a slightly different scale as they don't have multiple lifetimes though, but I still enjoy them so far and would make for great dramas too: * Little Phoenix Is Not An Immortal https://www.novelupdates.com/series/little-phoenix-is-not-an-immortal/
Just now watched AvenueX first impression on Love and Redemption you can find the link belowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqJkAcGM8U4After…
I've followed Avenuex for a long time, however I take her reviews and comments with a grain of salt. After so many reviews, I've concluded she and I don't usually enjoy the same type of dramas :)
If I'm interested in a drama, I'll watch it BEFORE I watch her review. For Love and Redemption, I've already formed my own strong impressions and love, love, love, love it, so her negative opinion doesn't change that. But if I'm only slightly interested, but not enough to start the drama on my own, then her opinion might help me to try or skip it (though I've mostly dropped her past recommendations like: Find Yourself, Love and Destiny, The Bad Kids). Sometimes if she hates something from a drama, but I know I like, it might actually interest me to try it!
She tends to like more serious-minded or thematic dramas (except for the hits like Ten Miles and The Untamed, which I also already loved on my own). She's also is a bit biased towards certain actors, like Hu Ge and Zheng Yecheng, so I'm cautious if she raves about their dramas as they're personally not my cup of tea. She's also big into cinematography with more serious/darker tones (Minglan, Nirvana on Fire, Love In Between, Joy of Life) and I like the bright/happy/pretty look and feel of xianxia/fantasy dramas if I also love the leads & story, so we can agree to disagree. (My real-life is serious enough, I don't need dramas that require too much deep thought/seriousness or are too depressing, lol).
I do however enjoy her title breakdowns in most reviews, updates on entertainment news and language/cultural videos. Sometimes I learn about new dramas or interesting c-entertainment tidbits here and there.
I watch dramas for the story, sweet love, the fluff, the main couple, temporary angst, favorite tropes and to get lost in fantasy so Love and Redemption hits ALL the right spots! I'm so glad to share in the love of it with everyone here on this thread regardless of what others feel!!
i'm currently in episode 3. why did his stutter disappear all of a sudden?
Sifeng doesn't normally have a stutter, it was just temporary. Ruo Yun explains in Epi 1 when Xuanji dropped by to give Sifeng birthday cake that Sifeng has spent his whole life in Lizi Palace and so he's not too familiar with their language since he just arrived in Shaoyang. So assuming the more time he spent with Xuanji/at Shaoyang, he picked up the language better so the stuttering went away naturally.
In this spoiler clip, who does XJ see get married to SF (is it XJ?)? https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4540790926221874
I was wondering why there was a bts with him in marriage robes with someone else! That makes sense now. Poor Xuanji seemed heartbroken in the teaser since she don't know it's fake. This is the yt bts clip I saw: https://youtu.be/gqieRk2JMyE
Omg bye- a website ripped my subtitles and uploaded it on their own site filled with ads to earn money. This was…
Lol, I noticed the "to" seems to happen a lot with Xuanji's name. But aw, I'm so sorry to hear that someone stole your hard work as well! I was so looking forward to more of your subs. The good subs are great, but do require patience. Is there anyway you can explain and/or private message/email with how you extracted the hard-coded subs & where the raws came from? I googled and youtube'd: how to extract hard-coded Chinese subs, but didn't see any clear instructions. But, if it's too complicated, just wanted to say how much I truly appreciate what you've done already. For me, I've studied mandarin but it's nowhere near fluent, so your subs really helped to fill in the missing blanks! So sad someone had to ruin it for the rest of us! :(
