I know I'm probably getting my hopes up for nothing, but the possibility of Pa and Ink is so amazing. Pa really likes her and Ink was feeding her cake...also because they're second billed it's making me hopeful there's a tiny chance they're the second couple...why do I do this and then disappoint myself!?
I really thought the earliest this would air was January. But it's only 2 weeks away. This looks fantastic and so incredibly different from anything gmmtvs done before. GMMTV has really changed things up this year, whether it be making melo lakorns or BLs with so much substance like 1000 stars or Bad Buddy and dramas with incredible action. I think a lot of people were thinking gmmtvs dramas wouldn't be able to keep up with the other great dramas Thailand's producing, but they're a great example of a channel that seems to me maturing with its audience, which is so exciting to see! I hope they keep it up.
I finally have a day off work and I'm catching up. I'm on episode 4 and I am so invested and obsessed. I was most excited for Nanon because for a long time he was the lead in my favourite thai drama. And although I've seen Ohm in a couple things (MIR was my first Thai drama back in 2016) I'd always liked him but never considered myself a "fan" but I'm loving him in this. I feel I actually need to give He's Coming to Me a go now!
I'm on episode 11 and I've pretty much given up hope the leads will end up together. I've seen fan videos so I feel like they must, but with the way this dramas going I just don't have faith it will happen and if it does it won't be believable. She clearly loves Ding Li Wei so so much. Also I'm so bored of her and Ding Li Weis scenes, they don't make each other happy so theyre in their constant cycle of fighting but they're so in love with each other they don't care that they're both unhappy. I just really want to watch Li Da Ren start anew in Singapore and have him fall in love with someone that won't make him miserable because a jerk with tattoos, who dresses like a Bond villain tells her that "he's changed"
Oh my goodness! The stress and anger I feel whenever Ding Li Wei is on screen! Also Li Da Ren deserves the world and watching him be in pain for so many episodes is so depressing. But I am still enjoying this - their chemistry is just sooo good! And they have to end up together! I just wish the drama could get to that bit quicker!
Wow! The chemistry between the lead's is just insane! I wasn't sure of if I'd continue with this drama, but episode 3 just got me and now I'm obsessed.
Seo Ye Ji and Lee Sang Yeob- are 2 actors I love so much! They have such different energy though - really interested to see how they'll mesh on screen.
I’m so glad I watched this! In particular I loved Haitai. Honestly it started to slow down a little towards the end and focus on things I didn’t care about so much, but the constant laughs kept me interested. At the end I really didn’t care who Na Jung ended up with, I preferred seeing all the friendships between the characters rather than the romantic relationships. Could’ve been a few episodes shorter, felt like unnecessary romantic drama was added to bring it to 21 episodes rather than the usual kdrama 16. Still really enjoyed this experience!
This is my first Reply series! It was randomly selected for me, kinda glad this is the one I'm starting with as the others generally seem to be more loved and so if I do enjoy this I can be even more excited for those. And I'm loving the first 2 episodes. It feels so different from any other drama, also I find myself smiling throughout these episodes, which is a nice break from all the tears of my last drama!
I have this terrible habit of when I love a drama too much I stop watching it because I don’t want to leave the characters and story and never have I done that more than with this gorgeous drama! I started this drama at the beginning of July 2020 and I’ve only just finished it in November 2021 - I would watch an episode every few months! And after 16 months I was still not ready to say goodbye to these beautiful characters, but I’ve finished the drama now. It’s going to be so weird not seeing it on my watchlist anymore. Anyway if this isn’t obvious this is my favourite drama, it’s kicking Coffee Prince out of its top spot!
I completely fell in love with him in Hot Stove League, he was just playing the most adorable character. And he was the reason I made it through the beginning of Sisyphus. I can’t wait to see his next project, I love sports romcoms and he’s starring with Park Joo Hyun who’s so talented and it’ll be her first leading rom com roll!
Apparently some people were doubting this is a bl after the first episode, I hope the second episode completely cleared all that up for you! I'm so excited to see more, it's playing out word for word like the manga and there are so many great manga scenes to come!
I haven't seen many adaptations of mangas I've actually read, but this is crazy how spot on this is with the manga. The characters look and feel exactly the same. Also none of the actors are always overacting- which is one of my jdrama pet peeves. Ida is my fave and he's just as thoughtful and clueless as I'd hoped! Also Aoki and Hashimoto have the cutest friendship in the manga and they look so cute here. So happy they're doing the play next episode - Aoki looks perfect as Cinderella! Episode 1 has beat all my high expectations.
I always find Chinese dramas hard to finish, and I don't know if I'll make it to the end of this one, but at the moment this is extremely sweet and fun to watch.
Whether you think it's good or bad i'm kinda grateful for Squid Game because as someone who's been a lover of Kdramas for years, I've never been able to really gush about what I'm watching with many people, but everyone I know is watching this and most of them have never watched a kdrama before, so it's fun to be able to actually talk about Kdramas with people.
I'm so torn about this drama, because I love so many of the characters, the lead's chemistry is just insane and I'm obsessed with all the tropes they included, but the story doesn't make any sense! It makes it difficult to rate because although I'm constantly confused because it seems I have a better understanding of what's happening in the story than the writer (you can't just add whatever you feel like when you've set something up completely differently!!!) but there's still all that stuff I love, I think there's another world where this story actually works and Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk get the scripts their acting and chemistry deserves, but until that world exists I'll be happy we have at least this.
