There are so many annoying characters, and I'm only on episode 11, especially that wife and that uncle. That uncle has been annoying from the start. I can't even count how many times I've rolled my eyes and cursed at these characters whenever they do something.
Park Shin Hye is indeed a great actress, and she once again showcased her skills in this drama. Her expressions were on point! However, I strongly believe that she was the only one who made this drama better. The cases weren't as interesting as those in other dramas; in fact, they were underwhelming. It was a good drama to pass the time, but not worthy of its rating. Still, I had a great time, especially since it had a happy ending for everyone.
I agree, we can see SanHa's feelings developing, and that he liked her a long time. Bur what about JuWon? She…
I agree. They only showed that she adored him when they were still kids, but you can't differentiate her actions as a younger sister wanting to have a brother. That's why it's awkward to watch. Setting aside the fact that they're not related by blood and there’s no significant age gap, the timing and everything else are just off.
Maybe it's just me, but I think San Ha and Ju Won would have been better off staying in a sibling relationship. Perhaps it's because this is an adaptation and everything happened more quickly than in the original, but their romance felt soooo sudden and awkward. In my opinion, the second couple did a great job of delivering a wonderful romance in this drama.
Can someone tell me when the series ends in the original novel? Also, what's the difference between the novel and the drama? I'm considering reading it.
This is so goooooood! I can't wait for tomorrow's episode! I've been in a K-drama slump these past few months, so this will probably end it for good. Hopefully.
If you're looking for a cliché but fun-to-watch drama with great chemistry, you should give this a try! It isn't perfect, but it's not that bad either. It's a good show to binge-watch.
It's just your typical Japanese drama with a love square and a boss-employee relationship. However, this drama also features sweet foods and explores themes like second chances in life, giving up on one dream, and pursuing another. The four main characters are all kind, especially Riho—she's so likable! At first, you'll cheer for Kiki and Makoto, but Kiki's chemistry with Asaba is still much better for me. Just take note that it's unrequited love at first. The character development of Asaba is also well done. Anyway, watch this if you're craving a cliché romcom with a business theme and enjoy sweet foods. Nothing special, but I binge-watched it, lmao.
It was an easy watch—nothing special. Would I recommend it? If you're looking for a drama that inspires you to dream specifically about fashion, features a cute relationship between the main couple, and has a very attractive boss with a strong personality who is very good at her job, then this drama is for you.
Oh, and take note, you'll be annoyed with the female lead at first because she kept complaining about everything while making several mistakes, but I loved her character development so much!!!
