It's been 7 weeks already since the finale aired and I still love this series the most and I feel like it will probably take a long time or forever

I miss them 😭😭

I actually don't have anything to say in terms of cinematography and it's actually one of the best cinematography that I've seen from the series I watched but the cinematography alone was not enough to justify if this series is really good.

I love the first half of the series until they came to that decision that ruined the whole series. It is a kind of serious decision that the characters didn't think about, Eiji is already an adult, and it obviously doesn't guarantee that they will get the acceptance by Eiji's dad. Moreover, I don't get the purpose why Mieko did try it as well to Makio, if it turned out to be Makio's baby, the outcome is even worse I think. Based on Eiji's dad's characterization, I don't think he will be going to accept a baby that isn't his grandson in blood. I actually have nothing against stories that depict what usually happens in real life (or lgbtq+ life) but this decision is also something that you would think carefully about in real life

This is like a downgrade version of Life Senjou for me, and Eiji was like a downgrade version of Akira. They really messed up the characters as well

It is just that I feel sorry for the whole outcome because it really has the potential to be a really good series.

I watched this one month ago and just decided to make a comment here. And to be honest, I dropped this while it was airing. It's not my favorite jbl series and I think it needs more naturality in terms of acting. It's also kind lost its appeal from the last few episodes. There were also some decisions from the story that could make it better, I prefer if Shin chose to go to Tokyo and study there. It's just the farewell letter lost its essence and the resolution of the climax part made that a little bit petty.

But I really want to praise how they handle the age gap issue here. Akira waited for Shin to be of legal age

As much as I want this series to get better. I think this couldn't be saved anymore. Though I can see a very light improvement, the acting from the latest episode is still stiff, and I can't still feel the chemistry between the two actors.

I also don't like it whenever they deliver their inner monologues into speaking. I don't get why Onoe needs to voice out his inner thoughts (monologue) like in the scene in the interview when the idol is touching Kaburagi's abs? and seriously, no one can hear Onoe is saying. Another example was from episode 2, when Onoe is spying on the yakuza guy which is a dangerous situation and he is speaking what he is thinking. I am just not a fan of this style of acting. They should just record the inner monologues because it feels so unnatural.

I will still give this a chance, but seriously I still hoping that this would get better, though I am thankful for the number of jbls that MBS is giving, I feel like they should focus more on the quality than the quantity for the next lineup

I just watched the released episodes of Ameiro Paradox. Honestly, I don't know if I just being nitpicky because the last japanese bl series that has just completed prior to this was done and executed so well and beautifully to the point that it dethroned all my top bls. As much as I don't want to leave a comment for the series that I don't have much of anything good things to say, I just can't help it and I am really not liking this so far.

I'm aware already of the negative comments regarding the acting. But I think the major factor that affects Onoe's acting the most is something from his voice, dialogue, and delivery of lines that somehow is not working, it's a little childish which I don't really find that cute. Some of his expressions as well are not really natural, it's like he has just only one expression, the only part that I could appreciate just a little bit is when he is cramming, it's a little bit cute

For Kaburagi, hmmm, I need a little more fire and aggressiveness like from the few chapters I've read in the manga. The acting was a little stiff for me. Both of them can't really deliver the personality that the characters need. I can't feel the intimidation that I want as enemies from them and there is no chemistry at all, it feels so forced

Aside from the awful acting, I think there is nothing really something special or interesting that will make you hook on the plot and storyline so far. There are also some silly and stupid moments too that I feel like they intended to be funny but somehow it's not working.

This is really different from the japanese bls that I've watched and looking for the vibe I've seen from the previous jbls.

Koichi and Micchan's relationship gave everything that I could ask for a relationship. One of the reasons why I can't still get over it, they really deserve more
