The preview of episodes 11-12 is giving me the ick... Don't get me wrong; I'm enjoying the show (kinda), but the romance part is bugging me It's painfully embarrassing to watch, but it's funny and legal till now, so no big deal
I started this tonight, but is there any romantic thing in this drama or ...?
We don’t know yet for sure… but there are hints that maybe there’s and this is really troubling cause of the circumstances ( the fl is 18 and the teacher 23-24)
The teacher is apparently 24-25 (2002) years old and the girl is 18
Honestly since they portrayed the teacher as a math genius why didn’t they made him younger (like 18-20) so it could have been logic that he skipped some school classes since he’s a genius etc… it’ll have been less disturbing
what to do? I think they'll end up together by the end of the series or in te middle of it since she's already…
I’m in the same boat as you I gave this drama a chance and I think they won’t date while she’s actively a student… The director will probably use a time jump so the characters will see each other after years and bla-bla the rest is history… Because from what I’ve understood since watching there are so many hints that he could possibly know her (from the past) and appreciate/like her… They also portray the teacher as responsible/mature so like it’ll be weird for a math genius who’s a teacher at a young age (24-25) to lost it over a teen girl while he’s in position of power/authority 💀
Not to mention that the director could also PURPOSELY make them date illegally to show how negative and bad it is … it could totally make sense. In this case it’ll be a really educational story about the danger of those relationships … the moral of the title “the absolute value of Romance” would be interesting if it’s the case
As a 19 years old girl I’m grossed out by the simple fact that they are insinuating possible romance and I’m really curious to see how crazy the director is so I’ll continue the show for the sake of my curiosity (all that while hoping the director has some decency left)
I'm currently in a phase of my life where, after finishing college, I was admitted to university, but now I'm really unsure about my career path and feeling quite depressed. I haven't been able to talk to my parents about it, and I have no friends at university. My GPA is incredibly low ( before entering hell, my GPA welcomes you 💀 It's the gate to hell) I was initially skeptical about starting this show because it looked somewhat repetitive, like other school love dramas. However, I decided to give it a chance, and to my surprise, this drama isn't just about romance. It's about love in many forms. In my opinion, it's a mature and relaxing drama. I especially loved the ending, which beautifully tied back to the characters who started it all. I appreciate the unique approach of this drama.
I would absolutely recommend it; you won't regret it!

Almost a decade in watching dramas and this is my first historical drama ever ( I know, I know) and I'M SO HOOKED I was missing out😭 (pray for me, I have a math exam for uni on Friday, didn't start studying, stumbled upon this drama and can't stop)
I think I’m gonna have to wait till all or most all episodes are out
Same... MBC is frustrating for only dropping 2 episodes a week. I don't know how they view this as a strategic way to attract viewers, because it is just more frustrating than anything else
If they want it to be at the top, please, MBC, release all the episodes already, because 2 episodes a week is really not making the drama any good. At least release 1 episode a day, it'll be more successful.
