Didn't finish watching but i already know the ending and watched it on douyin. Ending was expected but still had a little hope but i guess it is what it is. I must say this drama is really nice i do recommend it. Gominsi finally act as a main lead instead of second female lead ! Main lead's father is creeping me out so bad that i had to skip his part it was scary...i wish both main leads can pair up for another drama and have a happy ending !!!

Hands down this is the best ancient drama i've ever watch. Everything was so perfect. The 3 ost is so good i love it so much, everytime i listen to them my heart feel so pain and it makes me think of the scenes inside this drama. This drama really left a very deep impression in me. Everytime when i think about the scenes it's like a pierce to my heart T^T guess i'm forever stuck in this cdrama world HAHAHAHAH pengxiaoran's acting is so good, she made me think that this character xiaofeng is alive and has died thousand of years ago TT she made (act) this character alive !! I'm eagerly waiting for her other dramas to be released but none of them has been released since this cdrama :( also if u have a weak heart then i don't think u should watch this because you'll be crying a lot D: also it's such a pity that this cdrama wasn't a big hit idek why

Celebrities wears makeup often and about the wake up with bare face when there was makeup on, she did not say that's her bare face or anything to be clear. It was the production team that edited "bare face" in mandarin and put in on the screen. She looks good without makeup too you can see her photos at her weibo account. I noticed her eyes are red most of the time so sometimes it can mistake her as "putting on makeup" when that's her bare face without makeup. As some of her common makeup looks has some red-ish to it. ( just my own observation) Furthermore, about her height, I'm not sure about "she standing beside the 149cm director" because i don't think I've seen that clip before so i can't say anything but honestly idk why people hate on her because she's short i mean it doesn't really matter but oh well. Oh and also yep her company isn't really a good one haha. She's a really nice and kind person please don't be mistaken because of her haters uwu. Hope this clears up! :D

songkang has been one of my favourite actors since love alarm !! He's so handsome and his acting is really good ! I hope he can act in more kdramas in the future hehe rooting for him <3

this deserves a higher rating. Everything was on point. I'd give it a 11/10 !! Really wish to see both leads in a new drama :<

okay i'll start from the first part, honestly when lichengyin starts to lie to xiaofeng about his identity and starts to take advantage on her, there's no way the ending will be a happy one. It would be really ridiculous if they end up together happily, It's too unfair for xiaofeng. The part where LCY kills XF grandfather omg...my heart broke into pieces...that part still lingers in my head until now, idk why that part just made me felt so heartbroken especially pengxiaoran's acting her acting there was superb i mean all the while it is HAHAHAHAHA the part where her grandfather , father , mother , xiaofeng's maid (ah du) and xiaofeng master died all these part left a very deep impact and impression in me (imo) !! Next, i saw many people that watched this drama said if you REALLY want to watch you must be prepared because once you start you can't get out of it and so i decided to watch and now i can't get out of it :)

Actually i felt like XF master (gu jian) slightly deserves to come back to her because even though he did hurt her but he ended up paying for all his sins and has been helping XF so i really think he deserves to be forgiven but doesn't deserve to have her! It was so upsetting when he died. For lichengyin case, he doesn't deserve XF at ALL because imagine killing all of your relatives and u still want her to stay by your side??? Urm...idk what to say...i'm speechless.

I like how they didn't make zhaosese character too annoying hahaha and also one thing i really have to praise is i really like how every episodes have around 30 minutes each! Tbh i think 30 minutes long is already enough because it would get really boring if it was too long！Okay i think i don't have much to say anymore, i really recommend this !!! A MUST WATCH !!!!!

finish watching this! this is literally one of the best chinese ancient drama i've ever watched !! Everything about it from the acting , clothings , storyline , title track and just every other thing is perfect! I've never been so captivated by a drama before. It's like all the characters are alive, they feel so real until i don't even know how to explain my thoughts ?? Anyways i really recommend this !

just started watching episode 1 and i can't stop crying...why did dalmi's father die??????? Her father could have been so successful in the future. I was so worried when her father kept wiping away his nose bleed. I kept shouting go to the hospital T^T Now i'm gonna continue watching the rest of the episodes! It's interesting!!

i finished watching this 2 weeks ago and finally have the time to write about it. Firstly, i'm really happy because this is a happy ending! Secondly, i must say this is one rare cdrama that i didn't skip since ep1-40 . Quite surprised myself. This would be one of the ancient dramas i really like alongside with the romance of tiger and rose and love and redemption. I really enjoyed watching jujingyi's acting , again , never disappoints me! Her chemistry with ZZH is top notch!! It felt so natural and it's comfortable to watch imo. Hmm, now what i want to rant a little bit is i'm quite disappointed that WBQ & FX didn't had a wedding, i was hoping to see their wedding too. Next, after Duke An did so many bad things, this was his ending only...? Tbh, i do pity him a little because he didn't know his mom was actually alive. If he didn't stab himself he could have probably stayed by her side. Also, i find it quite annoying how the emperor always put the blame on xujin when something bad happens...can't he think for once whenever there's a problem , xujin is the only one that solves them. Where's the logic?? Unfortunately, this is how the story is written. Despite the shortcoming of this drama, i still recommend this! It's a great cdrama and it has a few funny scenes that i find it quite funny haha. Oh and i can't wait to watch the extra modern clips, anyone knows when they're coming out? Hoping to see jujingyi and ZZH pair up again for a MODERN drama ;)

i've finish watching this drama. it's the best cdrama of 2020 i have to say. This drama has accompanied me for the whole month haha. I'm usually not someone that would watch a cdrama with all these CGI effects or basically xianxia/wuxia drama but THIS is really good. I really recommend to those that haven't watch! Also i usually don't chase after a cdrama that has many episodes so i'm quite surprised with myself that i managed to finish all the episodes!! I really like this cdrama i can't get enough of it :( Chengyi and bingyan's acting are SUPER GOOD as well as the other characters. The chemistry was there. Last episode made me cry so much! It was so touching and beautiful. I'm stuck in this cdrama and i can't get out of it HAHAH This cdrama has so many things to compliment about, from the actor and actresses acting , the emotions , the CGI effects , to the production and more!I have never been so emotionally wrecked (?) HAHA i really want to see another chengyi and bingyan reunite for another cdrama hehe I hope this c-drama is a big hit it deserves it and after 10 years finally chengyi is getting more popularity! Everthing about this c-drama was just on point. I guess i'm stuck in this sifeng , xuanji world heh im considering to rewatch it also haha . i became an instant fan of chengyi and bingyan after this cdrama. Also those that managed to read this far haha don't forget that Cheng yi's new cdrama is airing now so let's support him! It's called "The promise of chang'an". Lastly , in conclusion , watch this drama , its the best , and i love it.

1. Why when XJ took down SF mask, the curse didn't go away, instead it was still a sad face? and why she can take it down without the curse gone?
2. In the last episode, what was inside the wine that LHJD gave to bai lin and where did they go?
3. In the last episode the last part, where are XJ & SF at? ( the part they hugged each other then it ended)
4. Where is wuzhiqi and puple fox at?
5. What is the thing that the mermaid gave to XJ at the last episode , what was the letter and the pearls for and where did the mermaid go?
