Looks like quite many LUF/LYF watchers here. I see similarities in the ML characters with our TTEOTM's TTJ:
1) Xiang Liu vs DG/ADG --> ruthless and powerful supernatural beings who fight in war
2) Ye ShiQi vs Hostage prince --> cinderella with powerful background but have to wash the dishes
3) Cang Xuan vs King TTJ - scheming king with unhealthy obsession over FL (sis con for xuan)

We don't get to choose much cos all have LYXs face in TTEOTM. 😂😂😂😂😂

I suspect so. The flashback was kinda confusing cos I didn't know who the kid was. But both of them seem to recall the same experience.

Yes it does feel like a few bits missing here and there. Like the one where TSJ hugs XY, there are scattered cups and teapot on the floor.
Up to this point, it feels like she's either going to end up with TSJ or CX. XL's case feels like a tragic story going to happen cos he's always sacrificing himself. He's poor, so he can't buy himself out of problems like TSJ. just hope this drama is going to be HE after the angst.
Of the 3 MLs, I think DengWei needs to differentiate his character from XiaoLin. There are some actions or body language which are very characteristic of him and we have previously seen them in TTEOTM. For that, maybe he can get advice from LYX. 😂😂

I'm watching it too and definitely got hooked. The story is very interesting and fast pace. Plus so many MLs to choose from. Hahaha
Honestly, YangZi may not be the top in looks but I don't think many can beat her acting. I'm not her fan but her crying scene just 2 days ago was very moving for me.

Yes i have never seen him before until TTEOTM. And i haven't watched enough of lotus to see his acting skills. Haha I'm stuck with Lost you forever now.
Personally i prefer XiangLius character. He's a bit evil but does things for XiaoYao without her knowing.
TSJ is a 100% yes man to XY, so i think they go well together. He is more suitable for her.
