I think his voice is really suitable for TSJ. I actually enjoy the bts scenes where i can hear his actual voice. Sometimes, actors are given a choice to use a voice actors dub or their own voice. So maybe he didnt feel as confident and chose a dub because he is quite new?

It also seems like the rivalry between YaoJing and YaoLiu has lessened in S2. TSJ and XL used to be against each other but now I see how they also respect each other. XL has always felt TSJ should be the one for XY. But for the first time last night, TSJ has given XY a choice instead of trying to monopolize her, like in s1 with the 15 year agreement. And he also explains to Jing Ye ( or was it lan xiang) about why XL hangs onto his army and is willing to support them. So im slightly back on YaoJing ship, maybe 10%. 😝
