Yeah, the worst thing is that it follows the novel closely so there is no chance of changing the ending. Cp aside, the drama is really quite well produced and the actors have been amazing. I honestly did not care about YangZi before cos I got a bad impression of her from the drama she did with xiaozhan. But she managed to impress me here and made me some sort of fan. Her dramatic scenes are really powerful. Tan Jianci's XiangLiu (silver hair) character is quite like DG1.0 here, so i guess u will like him. Zhang Wanyi's CangXuan( cousin/childhood playmate) is not a likable character in s1 but his acting made him win fans.
