Hi Guys, some time back we had a post on short forms and common terms like melon and stuff. I recently came across quite a number of internet slangs. I know sometimes the english translations give their literal meanings and we get ??? while watching. Here's are their meanings for those like me who didn't know before. 1. 马甲ma3 jia3 (vest or corset) = ID, like sometimes a person create 2 IDs or accounts to an app. Usually used when drama character has dual identity or hiding behind a fake id. 2. 大眼da4 yan3 (big eye) = weibo because their logo looks like an eye 3. 修罗场xiu1 luo2chang3 (warzone ref to buddhism) = situation where characters present have complicated relationships. 4. 大v (big v)= usually means weibo verified account with 500k followers. Ie celebrities or other famous and influential people 5. V我10 (v me 10) = transfer me $$ 6. Yyds = 永远的神yong3yuan3de shen2 eternal gods. (Thanks Kwanto for this) 7. DDDD = 懂的都懂dong3dedou1dong3 If u know, u know (already) 8. C 位 (C position) = C means carry or central. In gaming, its the important player. On stage, it is the important person standing in the center. 9. 服了你个老六 fu2leni3ge4lao3liu4 (hats off to #6) = it started with gaming, referring to the player who hides or use despicable means to play. In real life, a person who makes use of an opportunity to harm or hurt others. I think in LYF bts, Xiao Liu is sometimes mistakenly called Lao Liu.
Lemme add more if i come across. 😁😁
By the way, Joasiss here. Editted my id and realised need to wait a month before I can undo it. 🤦♀️
I heard tteotm also is at 2nd place in the most viewed drama in Xiaohongshu 😍Knockout is still in first place…
It's a police gangster show. I watched half an episode by accident at someone's house and only much later realised what show it was. It's fast pace and looked interesting. But I probably won't start it cos I dont really watch non costume dramas. Let us know if it's a must watch!
#TillTheEndOfTheMoon’s official douyin got 100 million likes. Also TTEOTM Real-time drama broadcast market share…
Thanks!! I've been meaning to ask. Whats yyds? I think i also often see on weibo. All three 长s in the second photo. But probably going to be a reshuffle when 长相思has more episodes out.
I have worst tons of Melon flying around today that will boil your nerves, FL green tea 🤣🤣🤣So won't be…
I think it's pretty unfair the artistes have to bear responsibility for their fans or those pretending to be fans. But ultimately, these actions will take their toll on overall popularity...
Ooh are u enjoying this drama? I am on episode 2… mls looked cool and evil😁wanted to reckie the fl as she…
Hahaha yes i also tried to ignore her character in LBFAD cos she was annoying and acting cute at first. I think her family owns a few companies type of rich and she stays in prime districts. Wiki says her parents are real estate moguls and she is shareholder to their companies.
Not trying to body shame cos i know what it's like to be told skinny all the time, but LYX seems to be losing more weight than before? It's a bit concerning

I thought it was her actual voice in LBFAD. Anyway she's like an unfiltered 10 year old. Her family is crazy rich so she has always been a princess i guess. I really like how she speaks without restraint, quite a refreshing change from most celebs who have to watch their every move and word. I saw a trailer of her upcoming work with ZhangLingHe and she was fighting, totally immersed in mud. The choreography in the show looks really really good!
I thought they did... several times infact, when they were in Jing empire ... TTJ being jealous and all... and…
Yes she takes quite a bit of getting used to.. the first few episodes were hard. I liked her character much better in the later half and end of the show.
