Yes i agree they seem far apart in age and social status. LLD also appears to have just graduated from school and looks much younger than her successful sister. Perhaps the show could have explained she was working for some time already. Or pair him with an older actress.

Hes supposed to be around 30 which is pretty young for someone with his achievements. I dont think someone in their early or mid 20s will be a convincing boss of a company. 😅
And an inexperienced actor will not be able to carry the heavier and emotional parts of this drama.
The plot is wacky but not a typical rom com so i dont think it is necessary to get a younger pretty face. (Not that hes not pretty. 😜)

And they add in these little cartoon props for the arc. I think the prev entry had an orange, tennis ball and glasses. The hair tie is always there.

But i believe the script was written with him in mind. In an interview, TJC said TongHua and the producer of LYF approached him with Filter's script. At which the interviewer asked if they wrote it for him but he laughed and said to go ask them instead.
