This seems to happen with every queer dating show, but I just want to remind some people that a filmed, week long dating show isn’t a reflection of their entire character.
The contestants are constantly being put through difficult situations that aren’t typical to the actual dating world (for example, the “missions” or living with strangers) so I think they should be given some grace.
I’m not saying you can’t have opinions on the cast or comment on their behavior, but maybe just remember that at the end of the day these are regular people who have good and bad moments, just like us.
I commend them because I would actually go insane if I had people making assumptions about my entire personality based on a highly produced dating show that only lasts for 7 days as if I was some fictional character. Mind you, they’re only showing about 7-10 hours of content within that whole week.
Even if none of them work out as couples, their friendships have been so cute. I think this is the most platonic chemistry I’ve seen compared to His Man or ToGetHer
Uh ignoring the incel subplot of “if a girl cheats she deserves to be abused,” the rest of the show is intriguing. Feels like a real thriller which a lot of BLs haven’t been able to do. Interested to see where this goes.
I’m actually shocked there was a happy ending, I was fully prepared for one of them to die or for Do to never been seen again because he wants Tae Jeong to forget about everything that happened.
