I beg to disagree. That competition really highlights the theme of this series. Plus some politics were thrown here and there so it was very interesting imo.

A blind test should’ve been done in the competition. The voting is so unfair considering that both nations have animosity towards each other.

Glad to see that I’m not the only one who was on a kdrama slump. I eventually found myself watching more cdramas coz the kdramas were not hitting as hard as before.

This is so on the spot lol. But this drama has ended my kdrama drought so I don’t mind if they end it that way. 😂

I honestly didn’t mind his lack of screentime. This drama is more than just about romance. It highlights their childhood bond and it’s just right that each character got to shine. Despite that, I still don’t think ZLH was outshined in this drama. He did a great job portraying being a “locked in prince” who is just looking at his friends from afar. The focus here is their coming of age. The romance is secondary.

Watch it. Just watch it and don’t listen to the reviews here. It’s such a wholesome drama that invokes so much emotions. Don’t miss out on this gem.

Lol I feel you on this one. For ZQ's mother though, she perished because her body has already died the moment he gave her the poison in Mu's mansion. So she couldn't be revived.

I disagree about it not feeling rushed. Although they hit all the points in the last episode, I think it would've been better if they'd already established the context of FZ being ZQ in the previous episodes. As you said, we were so immersed in the fantasy world that we forgot about the actual world. It would've been nice if they brought us back into reality gradually instead of slapping it all at once.

It’s almost done but I’m honestly just tuning in for Moeum and Danho. And I have nothing else to watch at night. 🙃

I actually do not know. Even after finishing it, it’s stil a blur to me as to how yu you found out about shiyan and shiyue’s relationship.

Yes it has its own merits. But unfortunately the flaws outweigh them.
