I don't know when some of you started watching BLs, but you need to understand that not every author cares whether a story aligns with your idea of what's good or morally right. Some don't even believe in giving their characters redemption or growth.
Many BLs from Japan, South Korea, and China are intentionally written with morally grey or deeply flawed characters that make people uncomfortable. You don't have to like every story, but not everything has to fit your moral standards.
Calling every BL you don't like "weak writing" is funny. I, for one, am enjoying every bit of Bittersweet Love. Tschüss!
