Well, ofc that sounds weird too... But if the romance is about him in another body falling in love with the king, if he goes back, then the romance doesn't have a happy ending as far as I see it. Again, maybe I'm missing something, I haven't watched it. But I watch romances to see the leads together, and here they don't end up together
I haven't watched it, I'm talking about what I read. I mean there even is a forum discussion on top of the comments about if it's a sad or happy ending. And they don't end up together, which is the problem There's no question about it officially being a happy ending. The problem is if watchers really see it as happy when they don't end up together. Call it satisfying instead of happy if you prefer
To me the ending defines how the show makes me feel. At least in romances. I dont care if in a thriller or other genre everybody dies xD. I watch a thriller for the suspense, but I watch a romance to see the leads get together and be awesome
Just finished it. mmh I think its not worth. I watched it because comments saying its just sugar and fluff and rainbows. I disagree.
In the first 2/3 of the show, ML is a jerk to FL, and they mostly hate eachother. The only "fluff" you get for 2/3 of the show is when she constantly trips and falls into his arms. And even kiss.... so if you think 2 persons who hate eachother kissing by accident is fluff, sure.
Then, at one point ML likes her. Now we get several missunderstandings in a row, which make FL, who is about to like him too, still hate him for several episodes.
At the same time, the love triangle which has been present since the beginning, starts to be more and more annoying.
Then they get together, and since FL clearly rejects sML, you think its going to be solved. But no, he keeps being totally annoying until almost the end.
Ok, that's the bad part. It also has good ones. When they get together, they indeed are cute and fluffy with eachother, and there are several satisfying scenes. Even more, I think once they get together, I havent seen a show where leads kiss so much. Every time they are together, they kiss 1-3 times. So yeah, the episodes they are together, are pretty sweet, altho sML is very annoying. But 2/3 of the show they dont like eachother so thats not a fluffy show for me.
I'm sad about cloy and Mr Queen, since there are so many good reviews about both of them. But for me a very happy ending is very important, at least in romance genre. And both look bittersweet
1. I hate annoying love triangle too, but believe me, this one is not annoying. (the thing is, i FF all 2nd couple…
Well, I wouldnt watch it if I had known. But now that Im at the part where they are together, at least I can enjoy those moments, not going to drop it at the best part hehe, even if I still have to endure sML making moves on her
more details on that awkardness I say above. She is a celebrity, and he has been a hardcore fan of her for a long…
Im sorry if it sounded that way. In no way are they toxic at any moment. But I still didnt like that part. They were so sweet the episodes before. And suddenly he teases her so much she doesnt want to meet him or even play online with him. I dont find it cute, its too much, even more considering he suddenly found out she is his beloved celebrity. Also, if it would be 1 or 2 teases, well ok. but its 4 or 5 episode long.

Im at episode 18. One of the most annoying love triangles Ive seen. Until episode 16, she isnt even sure who she likes. She even makes a list with pros and cons. And sML wins, without a surprise, since ML has been a jerk until 2 episodes ago, while sML has always been nice to her. sML is even her secret celebrity. But ofc, she decides for ML in episode 17 (without really making much sense). So before they are together it was very annoying. But I thought now that she clearly rejects him in episode 17, it would end. Well, not at all. he keeps calling her every day and going to see her. She is sick at MLs home and sML appears with flowers. ML and sML both prepare food for her, and tell her to decide.... and instead of choosing ML now that they are together and she knows he is jealous of sML, she starts to choose random to not offend any of them!!! After ML stopped working fro days to takle care of her. And now at 18, sML appears again ofc, and she keeps adjusting his tie and everythbing. Which would be fine if she didnt know he loves her. But he confessed the last episode, and now she just accepts everything from him infront of ML...
Terrible terrible love triangle. I kept skipping and skipping before, but I hoped I could stop skipping once they get together and enjoy the show... Now Im skipping again
Same as this one is supposed to be happy, but doesnt sound like that to me. For me, being in love but just able to meet 1 time a year in another country, is not a happy ending in CLOY
Episode 11, no love, no fluff, ML still a jerk, annoying love triangle. Man I started this because I saw many comments saying this show is just fluff and rainbows. But if it is only at the end, I wouldnt say it is full.
Exactly. If this show would have continued at episode 15 how it was going, it would have been over 9.5 for me.…
It's not a sad ending. It's just they spend 15 episodes focusing on their romance, then they separate because "he wants to protect her from people who want to harm him" and they stay like that until the last 5 seconds of the show where you see them meet.
1. I hate annoying love triangle too, but believe me, this one is not annoying. (the thing is, i FF all 2nd couple…
It gets even more annoying indeed. @Dreams will make you you, you say you hate love triangles, but if this wasnt annoying for you, you dont hate them enough xD

Ive watched 6 episodes and the love triangle is pretty annoying already. ML is a jerk to her, sML is very nice to her, he is giving her her dream job, he is secretly his loved painter, they knew eachother as children... at least he wasnt trying anything because he didnt know about the fake marriage, but now he does. It was annoying already, I dont want to imagine how it will be know that he knows he has a chance. I hope by not annoying you meant at least its short, because Im hating it right now
Rush To the Dead Summer, i think it got the similar vibe like LoveO2O, with more intense plot
Mmh i read about it. I like happy romances and this one talks about terrible betrayals and looks like it has an annoying love triangle. Not sure it's my cup of tea
I had to drop it. There was so much elements I dislike:- Too much misunderstandings- Too much miscommunication-…
Really? I just read another comment saying: "This is just sugar and fluff and rainbows. It's totally what I wanted and perfect if you are looking for fluffly romcom with not much substance."
How can it be all sugar and fluff but have a lot of missunderstandings and misscommunication?
