Fai is my favorite sister of Lom from The Air and so I was looking forward for her sweet story. But after reading comments and checking some eps I am not sure if I want to start watching this show. That aunt is really terrible person and ruins the show. Why are writers so sadistic to add such characters to GL shows?
It was good to see not aging Aom in a romcom again. But I was expecting something else than esports. It was also rushed and I didn't feel any chemistry between leads. I like happy endings, but here I rather wanted them to divorce and go separate ways.
Good cast, good acting, but poor execution and many flaws . I liked to see new content with Freen and Becky and their acting. Story was good too. But what I didn't like is the execution. Fights felt like from some B grade movie. Villains wanted to kill the princess, but when they caught her, they froze or started talking and waited to be shot?? It was said that phones have no reception on the island, but a bit later Freen could make a call?? When Freen got shot, Becky complained that Freen lied about wearing bullet proof vest. But Freen was hit into a hand so even if she would wear it, her hand would still get damaged... vest has no sleeves. So how did she knew Freen lied? And many others... I finished it only because of Freen and Becky. At least last episode was good and improved my rating a bit: 8/10. I didn't expect it to be perfect, but some action scenes were so lame that I wanted to smash my head against a wall.
I expected something like GTO or Hammer Session and got a lot of violence instead of fun. Sure there was also some fun, but it wasn't the main genre. I like Jin Ki Joo, but I am not sure if this role suited her... she can't yell well in it. What about that other minister? He didn't get proper ending and punishment. I think the lesson from this drama is that like people have driving license, they should also have parenting license since some of them don't deserve to have kids. 8/10
It was good until last episodes. Forced conflict just to have usual time skip and last minute happy ending lowered my ranking. Clair could have her revenge in smarter way. Also why was Claire sentenced with more years when she was wrongfully in jail. They could reduce the punishment with years she already spent there. Did Kae also got punishment for attempted murder? I didn't notice it mentioned there. It was good, but not my top GL: 8.5/10
I don't think you understand even the hen/egg question. You said "That is easy - there was some ancient hen",…
What I meant is evolution theory. Long long time ago there was a creature, which was not born from an egg and then some of its descendants mutated and began laying eggs. After many years of evolution a creature known as hen was born. So it didn't materialize from nothing... unlike some theories of The Big Bang, which say that particles of matter and antimatter can materialize from empty space and so the whole universe did the same.
I don't remember Terminator movies, but what is the problem? If new time line would be created then in 1st travel he could come into past and become father. In 2nd travel he could come into new timeline in time when he already is father.
Also if a boy would go back in time while new timeline is created and he would kill his own father before he met boy's mother, it doesn't mean that this boy would disappear. Since it is new timeline, only his other instance would not be born, but the boy who came from different timeline would keep existing in the world.
I just want to understand how time travel works in this drama since I like time travel genre and complex stories. For example in Steins;Gate anime, it is clear. But here it is not. Why ML in the end looked the same when he appeared with older FL when the tape was supposed to be destroyed?
The story is messed with all the time travel, but that would be ok, What I don't like is the scene where FL told Dr. Xie about the time travel. Why did she do so in such a detail? They were more or less suspicious of him and she tells him all the truth? That was very stupid. She could make up some story...or at least use different device and different song.
Another thing is the time loop, time rules and butterfly effect. I think it contains many holes. It is not easy to write time travel story without any holes - I wrote some too and so I know. But this one is messed and lacks laws of causality.
What was 1st an egg or a hen? That is easy - there was some ancient hen, which laid an egg, which mutated into a hen as we know it. But what was 1st here? Some version of FL had to travel back in time before our FL did so. The story suggest that all is happening on one timeline... so the future happened before present? There are 2 usual ways of traveling into past. 1) person is sent and a new timeline is created; 2) some device creates link into past and leaps the person there without creation of a new timeline. 2nd option seems to be the case here. But in that case they can't destroy the tape in the past to break the loop since another instance of the tape exists in the future. OR destroying the tape would lead to a paradox and destruction of whole timeline since 1998, which might happen. But in that case the whole loop would just reset and happen again, because the tape would again exist. The only option to end the loop would be destroying the tape in the future. So 8/10 from me.
Also the ending doesn't make sense unless time loop really reset. Leads met again... in her 5 years or so. I will just ignore that. But how could he meet her again in future and look the same without time travel? The scene suggest that he somehow froze in time for 12 or more years and then met FL again when she is in legal age to date. :)
1) another serial killer in romance drama 2) stupid decisions - eg. when FL was running from the killer she could hide in any bush along the road instead of running on it - like wanting to be caught. 3) too deep water. Trope used in many cdramas appeared here too. When people fall into a river, they are suddenly 20m below the surface... and when they leave, the water is shallow. 4) missed opportunities - like when Tae Seong showed image of the killer to some guards in a house, but not to Im Sol, who was walking by and who could identify him easily if he showed it to her. 5) cars without brakes - drivers behave like robots programmed to run straight, honking, but none of them hits brakes when people stand on the road. This trope is really annoying. 6) I expected this drama to be about sport - running, but the plot was different 7) annoying Sol's brother 8) missed time stop opportunity - Sol had great ability and didn't use it well. She could use it before ML and move instantly to convince him about her time traveling story. Or she could disappear from the killer easily if she would be telling anything from the future.
It was good watch, but quite messed with some plot holes. How did they all got from that island in first time lines if that exit was limited ?If there were already their other instances, who helped leads in some moments... why didn't they reveal the truth to them? it could save them a lot of troubles. And the ending was lame due to chinesse government censorship of time travels. 8/10 But what I liked is the romance story of leads and 2nd couple as well.
I started this because of a main role of Julia Xiang, but she has almost no role there. It is disappointing. Otherwise it looks like a good dark drama, but I had different expectations for it, so I am dropping it.
It was good watch, but I was thinking how FL can marry ML when she doesn't fully trust him and keeps lying to him in later episodes? How is that healthy?I didn't like that part about her. But she was like a sun and her brightness hid all the flaws... as ML once said. I also didn't like love triangles and annoying villains - so my overall ranking is only 8.5. If I should vote for best girlfriend, it would be surely Xiao Man - for her patience with SML, who behaved like a total idiot most of the time. So it had some annoying characters and flaws, but acting was very good and so I finished it in normal speed within a few days.
Start was good, but I had to drop it after ep. 5. Villains were annoying and police dumb. No... everyone became dumb. Everyone knows Wasu is armed and dangerous and that girls are most likely his target, especially after the kidnapping incident and almost no one guards the house? There should be guys with long guns and guard all paths at least for a week.
I still look forward for The Air, hopefully there won't be too many annoying villains and dumb characters.
It was quite predicable from the start, but I didn't expect that the annoying SML would stay so long and on top of that they even added 1 more ex at the turning point when it could lead to really happy and fluffy ending. But SFL ruined my mood and 1 minute happy ending was not enough to atone for it. If I wouldn't watch it for Jin Ki Joo I would drop it at the moment SFL came back.
I had to get back to this, I dropped it when it aired. What I can say it's not that bad but romance tag is a bit…
That is my question too after finishing it. Where did their other versions disappear to? Since their lives changed, they had no reason to use time machine too. It also seemed that memories of our leads didn't synchronize with their other selves and so they both were different entities and could coexist in future. I think it is quite a big plot hole the author didn't want to bother with. I agree, that Jin Ki Joo was amazing in this drama.
It was good drama, but all cops in it look like total amateurs. On top of that why is a serial killer allowed to read daily newspapers and meet anyone from outside without any monitoring of their communication.?
Another problem is its length. It was draggy and repetitive in the middle. I accidentally skipped 5 episodes and didn't notice it until later.
What I liked is the relationship of main leads. They kept caring and protecting each other despite the harsh past. And I also liked acting and the darkness of the story.
I am 4 eps into drama and there is one thing i didnt understand coach Xiao focuses on a person but mc mother focuses…
I wouldn't say they are professional team. I don't remember it much now, but they were team in school and as a school club team they might prefer things going easier way while having fun. But because of some circumstances they got new strict coach and playing time ended. I hated that mother coach at the start too and more liked Xiao coach.
I would say don't watch it from the point what is good for the team, but from the point of the girls. She came out of nowhere and ruined their happy time with their coach. So they see her as the bad one. She is too strict and doesn't understand them. Why should they obey some outsider?
Keep watching and you will find out how the story gonna develop. Spoiler: In the end I liked the mother coach.
