I know a lot of you are saying that though NAKSU is an assassin she could not be forgiven or she should be killed but because of protagonist halo, amd plot armor you just let it slide, but you missed everything.
Naksu, is an assassin but manipulated and controlled by JM who she taught is her saviour. She killed people, but not innocent it was just the rumors hence why Naksu is fearful even just her name became legendary. But deep inside shes caring, and protective this is why the show gave us MD/JBY thats her personality.
Im guessing theres still more about The King Star, Naksu family, and Ice Stone. So im still betting this show to a very happy end. And for the last time. JEBAAAAAL!! HAPPY ENDING

There have been foreshadows about "both needed saving" "they wont have to drown" so I interpret it that both of them must be alive at the end.
For the show to carry on, of course there will be bloodbath JU saving the world and his world (naksu) like Master Seo Gyeong did with Daeho and Jin So Ran. Im guessing that the firebird and the ice stone is the main point here.
If the firebird is release I guess something from jinwoyon or jin family is needed for it to be release so It must be the blood parasite since its from Jin Cho Yeon. And now comes Jang Uk, the ice stone to pacify the firebird and restore daeho and all soul shifters be petrify and never to use it again. But in order to do so, naksu (hwansu, if memories restored) who is also from JBY body (great priestess) is the only that can handle the Ice stone, restore, pacify and sacrifice everything. Of course ,JU wouldnt let that happen so he did it himself but Naksu having found freedom and having avenge everything can stop him since shes powerful enough to fight JU and then die sacrificing herslef and the ice stone. But what intrigues me are the metaphors and transitions in s1 and s2. She is a phoenix (firebird) she rose from the dead, she is inside JBY body which is the manifestation of the Ice Stone and Powerful Priestess, she can rise back up and JU althougj having no IS this time, there could be little power inside him, they could rule and protect the world in the shadows and CP can rule the world in the light.
Hi shifters! Can someone jog my memory a bit? I forgot s1 why SY want to kill MD/Naksu if he's inlove with her? And now in s2 he lived with regret but still wishes to kill her along with him. I cant remember the reason and cannot understand him. Thank you

The reason why naksu was able to turn off the lamp relic is because the blood/body belongs to MD/JBY right? Its only the face and soul that differs. Shes naksu with her original face but with JBY/MD body. If she were to regain her memories then I guess the divine powers could be hers at last since shes now the wielder of the body of the great priestess. Unless they will have twist and bring back JSM. Though I love GJY now as the FL.
I dont get why people still compare JSM to GYJ. Her personality in this season is actually the original perosnality of MD. I guess you forgot that MD/JBY is naksu in disguise so her being in her new body (new actress) is just as good. Please dont belittle and compare the actresses and this is what the plot keeps going.
I just have a question guys. I think I forgot WHY master lee do not run wild since he is also a soul shifter? And does this mean Naksu is still a soul shifter? Even if its MD's body? Right?
For the record, their chemistry is so intense. I really like their dynamic. I wont compare s1 to s2, I love both but s2 gave me more thrills and excitement because of the plot and twist and turns.
