I've stopped at ep.10 (not even half through it) for weeks, and sadly, I think this is gonna be a drop for me.

It actually started fine and I was HOOKED. Like, tuning in everyday to see if a new episode dropped despite the new ones being released the day before that. Then... It fell off, but in a way, that you don't even notice it until you can't ignore it anymore. Everyone mentioned it, but... The sudden feelings? Everything else being so rushed? The MC's choices... I can't even begin to speak on the morals they tried to convey. The last pages of the script were handed to the new intern and everyone ran with it.

I think it needed more episodes. It had so much potential and they could've kept going with the seduction plot (unless they thought that a single episode of it was enough to justify their poor decisions afterwards? lmao).

Last but not least, the leads' chemistry falling through when feelings were confessed to each other. The way my face fell the second this happened... Probably my biggest disappointment. Had the plot just fell through, it would've been okay, as I could've just watched the last eps, enjoying the leads' chemistry. But everything fell apart.

It was just supposed to be a silly show but it was that serious to me, my bad. 😭😭

I think I wouldn't be so strict had I not tuned in every week, instead of watching it all at once. Waiting a week every time to feel disappointed probably pushed me over the edge. It's probably better as a quick watch!

The way I want to give this series a chance so badly because it's supposedly about to break Crash Landing On You's record, but I can't get past ep.5 at all. I'm probably overestimating the plot because of the high praises it's getting. Is it worth continuing solely for the leads' acting at this point? 😭

Title Flower of Evil Spoiler
I've got to find someone that'll crack my skull open too so I can watch this drama again. ☹ Mind you, I finished 20 minutes ago...

Why is it that there are a lot of celebrities in SK that are involve in bullying? Is this really a normal thing…
Mostly insanely common because of the importance studies hold in South Korea. Your entire life is at play because of your grades, exams, which schools you're going to, mostly which uni you end up in. So, that means, everyone is in a constant competitive state of mind. Adding the fact that they study until late at night, I guess everyone's mental health worsens and some people's ugly sides come out more easily.

Also, I'd add that South Korea is very much obsessed with self appearance, money and hierarchy. So it must come to play whenever bullying happens. I doubt the well put kids get as bullied.

Maybe I'm absolutely talking nonsense but that's what I've been reading upon years of being familiar with South Korea, etc, etc.

I watched it only because of Sung Hoon whom I've since I first saw him in My Secret Romance (even though I didn't…
I agree with you regarding MMH, besides the better part. I actually finished watching MMH a few days ago and started PMR right after this, a little cautious that it wouldn't be as "good". As you stated, only the budget and casting was better than PMR. PMR had a lot of plots in its plots, yet they were moving in a pace that resolved things fast enough but also long enough to keep the tension high. Unlike MMH, that destroyed everything when the ex fiancée got introduced in the last episodes. MMH would've probably been on top if not for the last plot.
