i tried so many times to finish this show bc i like horinatsu, but i just can't get myself to get past like...ep 7. i don't even think the chemistry between the leads was that bad, but it was nowhere near good enough to keep me watching as it gets really boring towards the midway point. such a shame bc the beginning of the show was pretty enjoyable + i really liked the manga. criticism aside, masashi's acting was great!

I like the leads and I love the friendship between the firm's employees when they were working under Haruto, but after like episode 8 or something, I was either bored or frustrated at the characters. It's such a shame because it was off to a great start + I'm a sucker for workplace rom-coms (bonus points if it's set in a law firm.) I would've dropped the show if I didn't enjoy the first few episodes as much as I did.

This used to have an 8.1 rating and now it's at 7.7...what happened?? 🥲

j-bls tend to get lower ratings in general, but I also noticed that people tend to be quite strict on j-bls with older leads
