Am I the only one who wishes the synopsis didn't spoil the premise, there weren't such big time skips and they would actually how signs of scam and let us try to piece things together? It could still turn out really interesting, but st this point feels like such a waated potential
The scene in ep 6 was SO REALISTIC, the subtext, the dialogue was perfect. And I'm glad Jimmy closed the door behind himself, it was too risky, knowing Run's intentions. That would make Jimmy's redemtion arc impossible
It's easy to hate on Jimmy, BUT: -He has an avoidant attachment style, he's egocentric and is used to lying to avoid communicating, and doesn't fear consequences -Toh has anxious attachment style, lacls personal boundaries and actually also crosses Jimmy's boundaries (arriving to his house unannounced at night during exams, and even letting himself in, without knocking)
Basically they're incompatible and it's much more complicated than Jimmy being a villain and Toh being a victim
I find Toh quite interesting and endearing. It's his first relationahip and he doesn't have a "proof of Jimmy cheating", so he puts up with it for now. Jimmy should have a long period of suffering and begging
I'm at epidode 8 and it's totally a wasted potential. I've never seen such a useless main character as Win. Writing is really bad, nothing alnost happens because of his lack of agency. Compared to time travel series like Triage, Reset or Be my favourite, this lacks both plot and chatacter development.
I'm 4 episodes in and really like it so far, except Win's character is insufferable— he acts as if it's a usual thing to go back in time, and what is worse he doesn't even behave like a 44 year old man who turned 17 suddenly, he lacks maturity or determination to change things.
NOT A SPOILER REALLY, BUT JUST IN CASE:
He knows how in July 1998 Nut was already diagnosed, but currently in October 1998 he just keeps asking Nut if he's really healthy, as if Nut hadn't kept it a secret before. And days later he acts like a kid at hotel's reception. Didn't he know as an adult that test results won't be disclosed that easily? Who in their right mind would go there without a plan or a sob story ready? And what is so hard about involving a "proper adult" into this situation just to get Nut check up up again and receive treatment. Since he remembered and allegedly loved Nut 27 years later, one would expect him to take things more seriously and showcase more urgency. I enjoy the show more when I try to forget he's a grown person with the knowledge of the past, because as an actor he's actually quite good and makes a great teenager character riddled with doubts and uncertaibty
I'm really surprised some people don't get that such a magical and traumatic thing happened to Armin and he can't discuss itwith anyone - it's only realistic for him to break character from time to time. Anyone who drops the series because of a few mentions in the first episodes is just missing out

I'm at ep 7 and I'm still confuse what other leads' full stories are. Tar, Thyme and others. It's as if there's some prequel where they all dated or broke up. Especislly Tar and Tum, are they REAL btothers? Only stories of Pete, Ae, Pond, Tin and Can are clear and belong yo current timeline. Any help?

It's so messed up, why would he even want to have anything to do with someone else's child? He just came back from England and now is taking care of him, as if his sick mother (not clear with WHAT exactly) has no relatives or friends.
