Same with my husband. He knows I am obsessed with Cheng Yi and talk about him all the time. I was so hyped about VOA, coming here to discuss it with others..so so much to the point he got curious and started watching it on his own. He finished it and said he liked it but it is too dark for him. LOL. I, in the other hand, am just happy he watched the work of my favorite actor. He doesn't like it when I talk about Cheng Yi because it's him everyday. :P

Perhaps once it is released, I will see familiar faces. Until then...

Everyone's been so kind in picking, breaking and sharing details as we watched Vendetta of An and that is something I will miss the most. The community and its VOA people.

If I don't like an actor, I don't watch their dramas. That's it. Why go around downvoting and destroying another actor's livelihood simply because some people think other actors are better than your favorite? I am a Cheng Yi fan but I watch dramas by everyone else's except he is the only person I keep tap on.

I am from the US and we're stuck at episode 24.

Rewatching Mysterious Lotus Casebook after Vendetta of An. 🥰

I love them both but I will go with MLC because I’m a fan of the detective investigation genre. I can watch MLC over and over and not get bored. I have rewatched MLC more than 5 times. 😅

Agree. There were moments I questioned if XHA did was right. A lot of morally greay areas.

I have not seen the special but I feel like the drama has prepared me for his death. If here was to die for country, I would have been okay. I would be sad but understand he die for a great cause. With that said, they executed so well even I am willing to sacrifice myself for Chang'an. LOL

Finally finished. What a rollercoaster ride. The scene fake Zhang Mo and Ye Zheng ran to the house reminded me of Fang Duo Bing and Di Fei Sheng at the end of Mysterious Lotus Casebook. TVOA is one of the best dramas I have seen in the past few years, Highly recommended.

Just watched the trailer for episode 26. Now I am curious who the cloaked man is. Who did I miss? Or haven't thought of but have been in the shadow all along?

Could it all be a ploy for Tiemo King to lower his guard so they can take him and destroy the Tiemo peeps from the inside? Xiao Wu Yang is one of the people Tiemo King fear and he is not afraid of many people.

Even though I don't like fake emperor Yan Fengshan having control over the young emperor but their time seemed peaceful. He seemed to be the stronghold of Chang'an. With him, Tiemo King couldn't touch Chang'an. Now with him gone, wars started again and no one is at peace. It does kind of make me wonder if XHA's vendetta is worth people dying and now civilian lives are at stake. Even though I don't agree wwith XWJ/fake Zhang Mo's action to strike down his brother, I think I can understand him a little. Becoming a puppet king can bring some peace to the people.

I didn't even make that connection until you said it. The umbrella did miss a stick. Wow.

I love Melody of Golden Age and didn't realize it's the same voice actor for Love and Redemption. Now I am going to watch and compare. LOL
