I'm a little confused about it too. It's clear she is extremely possessive of him - but I'm not sure if she loves him or if he's just like a pet or doll to her.

The exterior building doesn't quite match either. His apartment seems to have curving windows in the living room but I can't see anything like that on the outside.

I just hit the spot where they translated "why?" as "oh poo". I'll have to look for the other subtitles. I hope all the cussing is cleaned up too.

What makes you think that?
Main character dreams people's deaths but cannot change it. Meets a lawyer who can alter their fates. Sounds very similar, just the genders flipped. (& yes, tons of other details changed.)
