Actually, there are lots of dramas with childhood friends (man and female ) that will meet and get together. This time is nothing romantic, just two female friends that will rekindle their relationship. I like it. Also there are lots of bromance dramas. I am all for friendship between women as well.

What is with all this obsession if it is a sequel or a prequel? (in general). The time travels stroies are difficult to explain. I know that there are several time travel theories. It could be as you mention about parallel universes. I think both people who said it is a prequel and the ones who think it is a sequel might have valid points. I personally don`t care if it is a sequel or a prequel.

We don`t need to watch the first season to understand that Lee Yeon is married and he wants to come back to his loved ones. We don`t have to watch to understand his relationship with his brother. We`ll see it all over again Lee Rang`s love and hate attitude. Even in the teaser Lee Yeon said that he has a debt with him to save his life. I am pretty sure they will explain. We don`t need to watch to know that Shin Joo was his friend (he will follow Lee Yeon in 1938) and he will meet a look alike Yuri, who was his girlfriend. What else is so important that we won`t understand the second season without watching the first one? I am sure people will watch S1 if they like the genre and if they want to get the vibe of the series , to know more about some characters.
