I liked the episode with all the angst. From the preview, no good news but let see what we`ll find out.
I knew about the Young Bok`s husband from the original series and I confess I thought it was better if there wasn`t heartbreak for the four protagonists. I am sad that this incident put them at risk of losing the friendship but I think now they have to `prove` that their connection is strong enough to overcome hardship. I am rooting for them.
The dating was so funny. I laughed so much starting with Do Hyun trying clothes but chosing a suit and ending with the rain after he said it is good that it is not raining. Jung suk apreciated the little gesture of affection and I think (my wishful thinking HA!)) they would have kissed if the pager wouldn't have rang. Doesn`t matter. She likes him too, that`s for sure.
I like how Ju Ri is so positive all the time. Great character. She knows how to live her life to the fullest.

Probably it won`t happen in Korean version as I said. We`ll see. From the preview, there is a chance that the criminal arson or kidnapper acomplice will be discovered. That was not in the original series. I thought it is just a cold case and they won`t dig more about it. I was wrong.
But in a way, I am glad that the criminals from 30 years ago will be discovered. I hope they will be punished.
I read that people are complaning about the mystery plot. What mystery? The fact that Do Hyun is looking for his biological mother is not changed from the original series. Do Hyun has a lead role in the Korean version and they put the twist that there was an arson case and possible an abduction but he is not looking for the culprit. It is a side story. He is still looking for his mother and they connected him with Jung Suk who will help him. The writer built better their love story in this remake. She will be the one that finds his mother just like in the British series and the mystery will be over. I don`t see how this plot is ruining the series at all. Maybe it is just me. I think the Korean version made a very good remake. The British ITV Studios, the worldwide distributor of the British ITV series 'Brief Encounters', has given high praise to the Korean remake as well. They especially noted the excellent directing and acting. I agree with them completely.
In the article it was said that Giles Ridge was impressed by the metaphor that combined Jeong-suk, who was criticized by the world for selling adult products, with 'Seo Taiji and Boys', who debuted with difficult music at the time. I also liked that very much. And Yeon Woo Jin chose this scene as his favorite as well. Kim So yeon and Kim Sung ryung chose the girl`s fantasies scene, Kim Sun young the mud fight scene and Lee Se Hee chose the scene when the four friends punished Mi-Hwa . But we know that she already likes him without realizing. The fact that she waited eagerly for his phone and she called him first, the fact that she came drunk at his home wanted to know why he is so cold to her are just few signs that she already likes him.

I am so sad for Young Bok`s situation. If my prediction about her husband will became true, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for her. I don`t know what happened with the husband in the original series. I think he confessed but other than that....
About Do Hyun`s mother. I still say it is possible to make Geum Hee the mother of Do Hyun just like in the British series. The little details are there: she did not want children, the proper age. When she was waiting for her husband in the restaurant and saw that couple with their grown son, she showed regret for not having children or it might be that she was thinking of her son she gave for adoption. The writer can changed the original plot and make another woman the mother but I still think it is her. We`ll see.

I don`t know if they are going to find the arsonist but I am sure Do hyun will know about his mother. It is heartbreaking to have a kidnapped baby. I was hoping they won`t put the hit and run arc from the original series but now I want to find out that Young Bok`s husband was not behind the wheel, that he changed his mind in the last minute but witnessed the accident. I want Young bok to catch a break. Too little time for a good resolution.
Did they put a mole on her nose for the character?
Yes. At first , when I saw the first stills of her character I kind of stared at that mole because I wasn't used seeing it but I am used to it now. They put the mole on the young Jung Suk too but not on the child Jung Suk. 😆

I like Jeon Yeo Bin but let see who will be the male lead. I am not very interested in the storyline.
