I know this was based on a manhwa, but did anybody else feel like they could’ve expanded on some things and make this series longer. For instance, Seung Won not “hiding” the fact he has 2 moms, or Ji Yu and her audition, or Heesu coming out to his other sisters and friend, or even Chan Young and his relationship with his father. Not to mention the fact that we could actually get a full episode of Heesu and Seung Won being a couple and not just what 2 minutes 🙄
I watched before the scandal. Yeah this was an excellent drama with a good script and brilliant acting, but sadly that guy has kinda tainted its waters. But also to my surprise… I share a birthday with that 🤡. 💀💀💀
Let me start this by saying I don’t care or mind if there are straight couples in this. My sole gripe is how bad at being a friend Chanyoung is. Last episode when Heesu was obviously sad and anxious, we never really saw him make a good effort to comfort him or cheer him up or just be there. But we have seen Heesu literally be there for everyone else. I get Chan has his own stuff, but at least Heesu would be there for him and know how to comfort his BEST friend. Characters like Heesu make me feel so terrible for them, because they are such a good person, too good sometimes.
Something sad I just realized after watching the recent episode, Heesu has no one to talk to about his woes and worries, not even his best friend. Like imagine an unknown person threatening to out you but having no one to confide in. He is always there for everyone else, but is there really anyone there for him (excluding the obvious, Seungwon)? That has got to feel very lonely, I hope things get better for my boy in the coming episodes this week.
