I still don't get it when people call the ending of this drama as "cliffhanger" They literally ended everything…
Plus, what would be the plot of season 2? She is 'dead' in the Goreyo period (and didn't exist in any case) while the ML, a real historical person will be happily married to his half sister and having kids with her.

This drama is the ultimate female fantasy - half a dozen hot blokes fighting over a - relatively messy - modern woman. Of course some people are going to be fierce in their defence of it.

Me too... Like, the only things I appreciate about it is its cast and osts. Nothing more.+The ml was creepy
The character played by Kang Hana? She was a real historical figure and Wang So/4th Prince married her (out of choice, it wasn't an arranged thing) and they had 5 children together.

It's the same in non Asian culture to a degree. People with power/money get away with really heinous behaviour.
I agree that in Western dramas the bad people - mostly - get punished. But it's not realistic.

I find myself astounded by Asian culture. I'd say perhaps 9/10 of the BL and hetro dramas I watch the bad people…

Yes, he's her substitute husband as well as her son.

Have you ever seen any "office workers" in a drama do any convincing work? 😂
Yes, frequently. In fact the normal trope is that they are massively overworked. Not a bunch of gossiping, lazy harpies.

I so want Kang Hae Jin to (a) be nicer and (b) fall in love with his bodyguard. I also want someone to punch his Mum hard in the face.

My friend is being beaten to a bloody pulp, I want to help, but first I have to put all my felt tips back in their packaging, in colour order . . slowly.

Probably..😊 but this guy honestly broke my heart in the Kdrama "Cheese on the trap"...I'm big fan of him but...…
The actor playing Kang Hae Jin wasn't in Cheese in the Trap.

Currently at episode 6. How long do I have to endure the FL? Annoyed is an understatement. Her hysterical behavior…
That actress screams through 90 % of her dramas. Its kind of her schtick.

I heard so much about this series , and finally got my hands over it , on episode 2 right now , and the FL is…
To me the biggest failure of this drama was that the 'present day' FL was creepy as fuck. She was a full-on, scary, aggressive stalker.

I can relate. Reincarnation concept always repeated on this drama.

Title Monstrous Spoiler
I loved this. It gave me Sweet Homes vibes. Also, genuinely scary since the 'monster' is us and our resentments, rather than something we know doesn't really exist. Also reminded me of those stories about medieval Europe where some sort of rye fungus gets into the bread.
