I totally feel you and I have a theory. For the time I've spent on MDL, I gathered that there are two types of watchers. One group is casually watching, enjoying or not, just to fill in some free time they have on their hands. You get the occasional critique, praise, totally ok, since everyone has different taste and perception.
Than, there's this second group of overly obsessed, so called fans, that literally make their everyday life about these series and actors. Not to mention, and I'll get a lot of hate for saying this. the stupid fandoms with their imaginary internet wars. Just a few examples: GL vs. BL, Thai BL vs. JBL vs. KBL, then the ships, the actors, the whatever...I can go on and on. So this whole complaining is to prove some point.

I agree that it doesn't hurt but in reality, nobody in an office is nice or is fake nice. You probably have 1-2 work buddies that you get along with and the rest is all games.
