You're right, I'm eager to see more development in Joe's character. I refuse to believe that he's the oblivious, in love like a sick puppy, character. The monologues on ever episode's end suggest that he's more to that.

Ok, an ignorant slacker for failing to do his job and to see his girlfriend's brother's advances and obvious clinginess. Well, that's a pussy in my dictionary. 😁

I know it does. But people are never just good or just evil. This whole glorifying of Joe now and condemning Ming is a bit odd to me. They both have their faults, one being blind, the other one for taking advantage of the blindness.

His whole character is a pussy, mainly because he doesn't do his job properly and Joe needs to step in for him every freaking episode. We still don't know what's his relationship with the sister, only that he's off to her the minute she calls, which is ok.

Me on the other hand, had really high expectations for this one. I suffered through Bake me please, just to get a new series with Poom and Up was amazing in my Lovely writer so imagine me throughout the whole first episode constantly ranting: Please, let it be good, please let it be good. 😁

I'm sure he'll piss me off big time eventually but in the world of BLs, I tend to have a soft spot for the messiest characters. In real life though, my tolerance for assholes is 0. But Up is doing a great job with this one.
