The latest review on mdl saying plot is laughable because the ml lost all his senses and self preservation because of that crazy obsessed woman when he is supposed to be so powerful. 😵‍💫..i guess op is not familiar with the term honey trap.

I am okay with constructive criticism but this is just plain hate and stupidity

So i watched ep 20 preview with official subs. It says they need to retrieve a book called Ghostly Eulogy to cure someone. But for that they need a pair who knows each other well. TY suggests that he can retrieve it with her but she refuses. Girly is still mad as she should.
Then YH and BXS sit together and discuss how much they know abt eo. Yh asks him questions abt her favourite food and life goal , which BXS prob fails but TY who is overhearing their conversation answered it correctly.

Next i think BXS asked what she likes , TY has a flashback and tells him that she likes peeking at people when they bath .lmaoo and we all know what happens next

This might be the first time I am watching a costume drama where there is no annoying characters scheming and desperately trying to get one of the leads for themselves .(I know the love triangle involving suying fits this but it has nothing to do with our main leads and their love).
Infact even the dramas that have 2 parallel couples there will be this bitch trying to separate one of the pairs. Take the starry love for example. Although momentary that fairy bitch kept bullying yetan because she wanted Yuqin for herself.
In love like the galaxy second male lead was actually pretty decent but there we had that crazy entitled princess who was after ling buyi and left no stone unturned to torment CSS. Characters like these have no other purpose or input to the main story line other than act as fillers or contribute to one of the leads' demand/popularity.

In BFTB i don't think BXS will ever actively scheme against TY due to pure jealousy . He respects YH 's feelings and i really like that. Hope he doesn't turns into one of those obsessive second leads.

Oh wait . Now i am confused too 😯. He did something before kicking her out. But again when she was 10 year old and mistakenly burnt that tree her master did witness the immense power she possessed

Soo cute. We need them in a modern drama asap

Let me make this clear. YH is not upset with TY because he took the scales back without asking her . it was his thing from the beginning. She is hurt because he once said "to me your life is different from others". Yet he took HPS back so easily disregarding her life.
She doesn't wants to be with the person for whom her life is unimportant. That's why she decided to move on.

It's only in the preview of ep 27 she learns the truth that he didn't put her life at risk. She has always been the most important person for him. I guess only after that she can forgive him wholeheartedly.
I think this is the only misunderstanding that happened between them.
TY needs to grovel for keeping her in the dark . But to say he doesn't deserves her is a bit too much.
