Well yeah, Sang Yan didn’t want to push himself on her and hes stated multiple times he wants her to chase him so he can finally give himself to her again. He wanted confirmation that she wants him too. i think the fact they lived together for almost a year after everything they been through in the past is such a realistic and natural progression. it gave time for their relationship to mend and flourish. they didn’t have the type of relationship that they have now in the beginning. they were basically strangers again. also with all the trauma that shes been through why would he want to jeopardize their relationship by pushing himself onto her so quickly? especially not knowing fully if she reciprocated those feelings.

bc that line is so underrated we need to talk about it more 😭 hes saying she deserves to be treated well and thats something she has really needed to hear all these years.
