I'm not sure why so many people are confused so I'll explain below with the spoiler tag lol
Hyun and Dongho have been best friends majority of their lives. Hyun carried around a diary in high school and writes all his happy moments with Dongho bc he doesn't know how else to express his emotions towards him so instead he kept it to himself and journaled about it.
One day Dongho tells Hyun he secretly read his diary and asks if he was talking about their relationship in it. Hyun lies and says no, its not about you don't worry - in fear Dongho will leave him. Hyun then realized hiding his feelings and having to pretend to just see Dongho as a friend would cause him more pain than telling him the truth so, Hyun tells Dongho he lied and the diary pages were in fact about him and he has feelings for him. You can see Dongho smile and get hints through the short series that Dongho has feelings for Hyun as well.
The man in the book store is Hyun. He's just his older self (they styled his hair differently to make him look more mature / older so its easier for you to see its the present older him) He finds his diary and starts looking at the pages and the whole time you're seeing Hyun and Dongho in high school, that is Hyun's memories he is looking back on. it's called Happy Ending bc they end up together.
Matchbox / Strongberry don't throw their relationship in your face or tell you directly, they do it subtly. this is something they do a lot with their short films bc they are big on portraying emotions in their story lines.
At the end, Hyun says, "You're here? You're late." implying its Dongho who walked through the door. its a reference to ep.2 when they're in the cafe and Hyun comes into the cafe late and the girl says "Hyun waited 30 minutes for you." Hyun replies, "no it hasnt been that long!" she then tells Hyun, " if you keep this up, it'll become a bad habit for him (Dongho)". after all these years Dongho still shows up late but Hyun still doesnt mind. [i personally think since most people know the actor who plays Dongho from Choco Milk Shake they put the little cat sign above the door as an easter egg since its the same company that made both short series. but it could just be coincidence as well lol]
If anyone is still confused feel free to leave a comment and ill try to explain more ^^ please don't forget to use the spoiler tag if needed~
Pildo dying in the last episode after they just started dating was unnecessary...The story should have gone by…
You obviously did not understand the plot of the series if you think that wasn't something that was going to happen and you 100% should add a spoiler tag to this. Why are you ruining it for other people?? Be respectful and add the spoiler tag 🤦♀️
He's been in some of Youngjay's videos for about 2 years now. He did a short skit with him that had two parts but he's also called Taekwondo Boy on his channel where he teaches Youngjay tk ^^
