Like he doesn't respect Bai Shuo decision at all 😵‍💫 and all he sees is Fan Yue to hate when whole ass cold spring palace exist and eternals exist 😭 he was literally used by his master yet he still doesn't wake up. I thought he would like get some development after what he went through...but NOPE. He only got worst too. I don't see FL redemption arc anymore, she's down the hole too badly. She is far too ruthless.

I get what you mean because what these two characters been doing lately is kind of too extreme. I like toxic romance and all cus it brings twist but didn't expect 2nd CP to be this TWISTED 😭💔 I don't even know how they'd redeem FL atp. A tragic end is only one justifiable or logical to me.

I don't know why some people think Bai Lu who plays the character Bai Shuo deserved less screen time when she is the main character here and this is her journey. The reason why their adventure started was because of that desireless stone related to her. She is the protagonist in this story along with Ao Rui Peng character as Fan Yue, since this is their lovestory. Bai Shuo is not a perfect character she has flaws but she is growing day by day. Think its pretty evident now that she is no longer that old Bai Shuo who is governors daughter. Just my two cents.

I'm starting to dislike Chong Zhao's character, he is yet still full of hypocrisy and self-proclaimed righteousness. He still can't see the bigger picture nor will he be able to understand Bai Shuo. The way am seeing it now, his feelings for Bai Shuo is more of obsession 🤦‍♀️ the only character development he had so far is at being annoying 😭 (no hate to the actor though).
