Yes EXACTLY! It's not his fault. I am still enjoying TWOT despite the amount of negativity it has been receiving recently 😊! It's not as bad as what they said it to be. Although not the best either but it has its positives.

Oh I wasn't judging his abilities at all 🤗 don't get me wrong. I have followed majority of his works since I first saw him on HS. His growth as an actor these past years has been very evident. He made a lot of progress. Yep! I saw that too, his acting is well received no doubt about that he literally pulled off the emotional scenes so well. Li Zan is not an easy character and it gave us whole new side to him which is why I said this drama had potential if only production team did their job rightly.

Yes, I knew about that but even with such issue HL still very successful afterall. That's what happens when you have good production team and director. With TWOT, it's like they just leisurely left it to someone who was available to direct it, instead of a director known for doing good work in dramas. CZY will surely still get recognition he deserves from this drama, he has yuanbaos with him.

I usually stay on X but decided to create account here to show my support for TWOT. I am so sad that whenever I visit the drama page of TWOT here it is always filled with negative comments 😭.

I know CZY already cherish Li Zan character because he changed his longtime weibo pin from HS to now TWOT. This drama is also special to him because he met Azan here. To think he even recently created IG to promote more for TWOT. The eftort he makes for this drama makes me sadder, that it isn't getting what it's suppose to achieve.

TWOT had so much potential to be one of his breakthrough successful drama again but sighs production team, director and screenwriter is a let down. I hate how CZY will get unnecessary hate for something not his fault. I don't get why these people blame him when it is beyond his responsibility, he is an actor not drama producer 😕.

I am worried for Fated Hearts too. I pray it will be better but I agree with you. I also started thinking maybe it would be better for him to be on other drama platforms. Mango TV would be good only for historical dramas not for xianxia/modern. I think Youku would be much better again, because look at how good the drama Hidden Love is. The drama success globally too. They had good production team, director and screenwriter.

No offense too, there is literally no chemistry between these two grown men. This isn't even a BL drama and if anything what they have is brotherhood/friendship. Some pple must be reading too much into something not even there.

this is so unfair 😭 he even created ig account just to promote that drama...he worked so hard he deserve better than this! Hope he doesn't work with TWOT crew in future again. They truly are a fraud for this. I expected a lot for this drama too but as episode goes it is clear by day this is FC drama. I feel disappointed because i expected more for Li Zan but i will just continue to watch and support because be worked hard for this drama 💙

I love chen zhe yuan so much, his acting never disappoints! I am obsessed with his new drama the white olive tree 🩵 seeing him in this type of role as Li Zan really suit him. It shows how he can ace any new role he is given to.

After watching 8 episodes, I am loving this drama A LOT. The chemistry between Liang Jie and Chen Zhe Yuan is overflowing. The acting didn't disappoint either. I think plot will get even more interesting as new episode get released.
