I've read the novel, and I hope the drama doesn't follow the same path. In the novel, the ML and FL are shown sleeping often, with FL mostly eating, sleeping, and being very pampered and spoiled. The ML, despite being a deity and daoist, is strong but appears weak in front of FL, often agreeing with her. When FL betrayed him, he didn't resist much and even apologised for defiling her, making him seem lovesick. I want the drama to change these aspects- portraying the FL as a true sea emperor who is strong and formidable, and the ML as a genuine star deity and daoist who is also very strong. I hope the drama captures the core of the story but doesn't stick to every detail.
